Thank you for your feedback., Doug. I do see you had some concerns about our SWAT product and your recent experience. As a team, we researched multiple GPS/Anti-Theft companies, but when it came down to great quality at a great price, SWAT was our #1 pick. This is why we've chosen to add this product to each vehicle in our inventory. Swat does of course help track inventory in case of any issues while in our possession. Our main reason for Swat is providing each customer with high-quality technology with the ability to GPS track their vehicle at all times in case of an emergency. Over the last few years, we've all heard of many vehicles being broken into as well as stolen right out of driveways. Swat also offers a generous program where in the event your vehicle was to be stolen and they are unable to recover its location they could pay you up to $20k. Another great fact about this product is it has been known to help customers get lower quotes on insurance policies. We appreciate your feedback along with all of our other customers who've provided feedback within their reviews across all platforms. Our team personally reads and answers each review accordingly based on each situation. Thank you for your response. We bought a 2021 Charger GT that is somewhat maroon in color. It was actually my daughter that bought the car. While it is commendable that you state you are trying to help your customers, the Uconnect app that comes with the car has the ability to locate the car already, thus eliminating the need for a 3rd party device and potentially saving us the $1k. A requirement of financing is to have the car fully insured against damage and theft and my daughter purchased the GAP protection (through you). In summary, Dodge is a reputable brand and their cars are likely not easy to steal in the first place. If it is stolen, the Uconnect app can lead the police right to it. If all this fails, it is fully insured and my daughter is protected with the GAP coverage you sold her. The SWAT device is therefore duplicative of the Uconnect app and is not needed. I think you should rethink your process of installing these devices and forcing them into the sale at such a large markup even if the customer specifically states they would rather not purchase it.

Here's what will be the final update. I e-mailed the dealership with contact details. I heard back from someone named Sara so I know they received the information. Sara said she would get the info to the GM and sales manager. I've not heard anything all week. The offer to 'reach out' appears to have been empty and hollow. Beware the $1k SWAT charge. You can use Apples' new Airpods ($25), the Dodge Uconnect app (free) or a tracker from Amazon that costs less than $100. You can also use any other Dodge dealer in Colorado Springs and save $1k right off the top with a 45min drive. Best luck with your purchase ! ***** According to a call I finally received from Steve in sales, ALL "Dealin' Doug" dealerships charge the SWAT fee. Some of those same dealerships deny the charge. (Truth can be elusive). Steve says it's based on a contract to put the devices on all the new cars. If the contract story is true, it violates anti-trust laws. I'm currently waiting for a response from the attorney general about this. Anyway, save yourself $1k and go elsewhere.
