Purchased a used vehicle that was "inspected" by the dealership. This inspection did not disclose the Blind Spot Monitoring system to be faulty and not functioning. When the button is pushed to turn on dealership. This inspection did not disclose the Blind Spot Monitoring system to be faulty and not functioning. When the button is pushed to turn on the system, a "check system" error immediately shows on dash. To fix, I was asked to take it to their Toyota Dealership. I brought it in, had to shuttle home. They were not able to fix the issue and told me to take it to a body shop and I had to catch the shuttle back to pickup the vehicle. I am now being asked to take it back to the selling dealership to be fixed. I have not received an answer on how long they believe the repair will take, and I am expected to drop the car off and find my own way home. I have had to initiate every request for updates or a solution and have now gone 4 days without a response from my salesperson. I'm coming up on 3 weeks since the vehicle was purchased and I am frustrated. Lack of communication and a poor inspection (the wiper blade on the rear of the vehicle was literally falling off, yet the inspection box said it was checked and fine) have left me in a position that I cannot do future business nor recommend Autonation. On a positive note I did have a good experience with the finance person. More
