Worst Experience Imaginable I would have given them 0 stars if I could have... A lot of things went wrong in my experience working with this dealership, but the icing on the cake was having the GM patronize me for being "younger than his children" when I came in to make a valid customer complaint. On top of the dealership calling me two weeks after I'd had the car and asking me to take a picture to verify my VIN number, they also were blowing me up for paystubs on my anniversary (2 weeks after the deal was supposedly done), their finance manager yelled at me and told me that her lack of submitting proper documentation was "my" fault, AND the title clerk did not submit my title work to the DMV for 49 days after the deal was done. Terrible customer service, poor organization, inexperienced and rude staff, poor process. First Time Buyers, beware. I would have taken my business anywhere else to have avoided dealing with these people. More
Friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and very polite Taylor Doty our sales rep was fun to take a test drive with. He knew a lot about what the vehicle was capable of and the warranties that came with it. Taylor Doty our sales rep was fun to take a test drive with. He knew a lot about what the vehicle was capable of and the warranties that came with it. He was patient with us while we went to another dealership down the street to test drive another vehicle. He even went out of his way while we were gone to get the specific vehicle we had seen on carfax (it was in the detailing shop) so we could test drive it that day. When we went through the purchasing process, he was very honest about timeframes and discussed our choices. We then met with Rachel Haviv and she helped finish up all of the finance and extended warranties and she too was fun during a serious and somewhat stressful time. My husband and I hadn't purchased a car in 17 years she and Taylor made it very easy to understand and pleasant. Later that week we had the pleasure of dealing with Scott Larson in the service department because we had a recall that needed to be taken care of. I had been told to plan to be there 4 hours so I packed a bag and a book and was going to walk to the Barnes and noble. Then Taylor and Scott insisted it was too dangerous to walk and found a nice gentlemen to drive me there. In less than an hour and a half they called to say my vehicle was already ready! They picked me up and then helped me set up an appointment with safelight to get our windshield replaced. Everyone we encountered in our car purchasing process was exceptional at their job. Highly recommend this crew. More

Only critiques with Mr. Hund: We had windshield due to be replace on a new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee (06/06 purchase date), and from 06/06-06/09 had not received any follow-up calls from Mr. Hund with the date/time that we can pick up the vehicle – myself and my husband have called several times for an update, his voicemail was always full (both work and cell), the receptionist would tell us that he was in but could not be located and to call back in an hour, then when we would call he would be gone for the day. It took us calling the General Manager, Joshua Larsen to get a response. (4 stars for Mr. Hund) The Store: The 1st impression walking into the dealership felt outdated, it has an old school care sales feel, torn chairs, old desks, and the front desk appeared to be disorganized and cluttered with papers, stickers and office items, very dusty and unclean. Not that every showroom should be top of the line to be productive, it's only the impression that I had at first view…totally different than what would be expected from a Jeep dealership, Jeep takes a lot pride in its product and I would think anyone connected with the bran should as well. Also, no one asked us if we needed water, coffee or offered anything while we were there (from 5:45-10:30pm, drove an hour to shop the Golden store). (2 star for the store) The Finance Manager: Matt seemed great at first – friendly, calm energy and professional, however, when we began to ask for the plan documents and more details for the protection plans and adjust our options (to make a fully educated purchase), Matt’s energy changed. The protection plans are not presented clearly and honestly - numbers are bolded in columns on a spreadsheet, as if all of the items are included in the top "bold price", but the items are actually charged a la carte and priced individually within the loan. Ample time to review the terms is not provided at the time of presentation, as a customer we are not provided with all the documents to make a sound educated decision. The level of service and energy changed when more information about the plans and pricing was requested. It left us very uncomfortable with the remainder of the transaction, as he told us that if we did not take any plans that our interest rate would go up and said comments like "new vehicles have mechanical issues" etc.; he said that he would not purchase Chrysler himself. I contacted the credit union directly, the loan office confirmed that our rate was based solely on our credit score and debt, that my credit score was excellent and the rate would remain low. I went to AutoNation to avoid the sales pitches and the feel of being thrown to the wolves or being up sold on products that were unnecessary, and the reviews online seemed average. This was my first “New” vehicle, and I really wish the memory that came along with the experience would have went better. (2 Stars for Finance) More

They are trying to make us pay $25000 for a $13000 car. The salesman lied and than had his manager call who was very rude and not helpful. I have filed a complaint with the bbb, stop fraud Colorado, and there Corp office. Than again to be able to speak with anyone but no one returns calls. Horrible customer service, and lying salesmen!!!!!!!! This is just against this dealership all the other ones I have been too we're fine. More

Intentionally withholding refund, lying, Misleading.. Where do I start? My husband and I purchased a 2014 Honda Pilot from this dealership back in August. We purchased and extended coverage package si Where do I start? My husband and I purchased a 2014 Honda Pilot from this dealership back in August. We purchased and extended coverage package since it was a used car, which included GAP insurance. However, after the purchase we received a better interest rate (3% lower) than the one offered when we bought our car so we decided to go with another company for our loan. Incidentally, this new loan offered GAP insurance at no additional cost to us. So, our representative from the company sent a letter to Autonation within 2 weeks of purchasing the vehicle to please refund our $350. This began in the early part of September. SIX follow up calls later (which were all forwarded to voicemail) in to October our representative was told it would take 8 weeks from when they received the letter in September to refund our money. Well, it's now almost January and STILL NO REFUND. My husband and I both have called and asked for return calls and have received nothing back. Our representative has called. They wont even let her speak to a person anymore. If this wasn't bad enough, I'll share our other poor experiences... Back in October our Pilot just quit running for no reason at all. Unfortunately, this happened after hours and at Target on a Friday. So, we called a tow and asked them to deliver the truck to Autonation since this is who we purchased our extended bumper to bumper with. At this point we didn't have a car and needed a way to get our daughter to and from school the next week. We received a phone call the next morning from the service manager only to be informed that "they don't service our car because it is a Honda and they don't work on Honda's"! They told us they would have to have it towed to Planet at no cost to us (no kidding at not cost to me). That was at 8:00am Saturday. They didn't have the car towed to Plant Honda ACROSS THE STREET until an hour before they were closed!!!!!!! I wish we had purchased our car from Planet Honda. They were courteous and helpful and got us a rental car within 30 minutes. Not to mention they work an ALL makes of cars. As we stood there and watched them work on foreign and domestic cars. Who the heck sells bumper to bumper coverage on a car they cannot work on without disclosing that?? My husband called the service manager 3 times during the day asking when the tow would be done and even asked the manager to call them to come get our car and he refused. As I type this I received a call from our representative who has been diligently trying to get our refund for us. She stated that she spoke to Josh, their General Manager today. She was told previously she had been leaving messages for the General Manager whose name was Alex. Josh informed her that Alex works in the service department!!!! Josh looked in to the issue and told her that they don't have a request for GAP insurance refund. Our rep slammed them stating she had signed letters from the GAP company and spoke to Jerry in Autonations finance department stating on September 26th it would take 8 weeks to receive our check and that they HAD the paperwork! IT'S BEEN 12 WEEKS...WHERE IS MY MONEY?! He stated he would look in to it and call her back. However, this solidifies my thought that they were just sending our rep, myself and my husband to dummy voice mails to get out of giving us our money back. I am so angry I was duped in to doing business with these people!!! I am mad that my credit union participates with them as well. I am filing complaints with the AG office and BBB. I would advise anyone else to do the same!!! Regarding my poor rating on price. They were asking 30,000 for the car we bought with 52,000 miles on it. We traded in our Rouge. They tried to low ball us and tell us it was in poor condition. It was a 2015 and had NOTHING wrong with it. It was in excellent condition with the exception of normal wear and tear. They wanted to give me 14,000 for a car we paid 30,000 for...cash. I explained to them how ridiculous that was and that I did my research before coming in and that our car was worth at least 16,000 to 17,000. Turns out...because we bought the car at a credit union event the car we bought from them had chips in the dash guards that they tried to paint over and the wind shield was chipped. But, because the car was dirty (it rained the night before) we didn't see any of that and they didn't disclose it either. Asking full "excellent condition" price for that dang car! Bunch of scam artists. My car was in way better condition then theirs!!! More
Unable to talk wth service center Tried to contact service center to discuss an issue with my 2007 Jeep Libery. Three separate unsuccessful attempts to contact service representative. Tried to contact service center to discuss an issue with my 2007 Jeep Libery. Three separate unsuccessful attempts to contact service representative. With each call I was placed in "Q" and told several callers were ahead. Each call had a different adventure ranging from talking to receptionists telling me to leave a message or a transfer to a phone which after 15 rings was not answered. Bottom line after over 1/2 of trying to reach service representative I was unsuccessful. In person visit to service center was no better. Representative was curt unwilling to discuss issue or warranty with car. Was told car needed 165.00 assessment before he would even discuss repair/issue Time to go to a neighborhood garage! More

First, they supposedly ran my My experience from this place has been bad top to bottom. I picked out a car. That's about when things when downhill. First, they supposedly ran my credit and offered me an interest rate about 2.5% higher than creditkarma.com offers (based on the same credit score), and 1% higher than my last car loan 12 years ago, fresh out of college with terrible credit. It was only when I said I’d just wait a couple days and get outside financing that I got anything close to a reasonable rate. Next, due to some miscommunications in the purchase process, I thought my Jeep had Bluetooth. Turns out it didn’t, but the manager assured me they’d take care of me. "Take care of me" meant giving me an $800+ estimate to install it. Golly, thanks. Then my plates didn’t arrive before the temporary ones expired. I called and was told yup, the person who does this for a living was just backed up. She offered me a gas card for the trouble. It never arrived. Then, 6000 miles into ownership, my clutch fails on the way to work. The service department told me it would be 4 days to get into the shop, but would try to talk to an advisor to get me ine earlier (since the heap was not drivable, after all). That appears to mean putting me on hold for 20 minutes and ignoring my subsequent calls. This place is all talk and no action. Go elsewhere. More
Buyer Beware My Temporary tags were set to expire on 11/27, On the 25th Nov. I still had not received the title, nor any paperwork for the emissions testing, so I My Temporary tags were set to expire on 11/27, On the 25th Nov. I still had not received the title, nor any paperwork for the emissions testing, so I had to get another temporary tag, which is valid until January 5th. I was somewhat angry for the delay, but in the long run, pushing the titling till next year is a good thing. Thats just the beginning of the nightmare. On December 13th, the check engine light came on. I checked all of the obvious-gas gap, oil. The oil was clean, but on the low side. I took the vehicle into GoodYear for an oil change, and have them pull what codes were for the check engine light... Oil was changed, and the car still lifted, the mechanic called me back to show me EVERYTHING wrong with the car... The check engine light-knock censor, injector circuit, and misfire in cylinder #2...Great. There had been several new after market parts that had been recently installed. Best guess by the mechanic, the car had been over heated by last owner, and minimal fixes were done. It gets better. Right rear tire, was driven on while flat. The marking on the inside of the tire is clearly visible. The tire is at high risk for a blowout, and SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE. Next, the left rear strut is shot. The front left axle is leaking gear oil, from the transaxle. I am looking at over $1000 in repairs, not counting the issues with the check engine light. The title issue, was more than a blessing in disguise. It is illegal to sell a car in Colorado that won't pass emissions, so Jeep Auto Nation is taking care of that issue. They sold me a car, knowing it was UNSAFE to drive, and was needing major repairs This is what I would have expected from a sleazy used car dealership. not a "reputable dealer" Dont count on them to do whats right. Don't Buy From Them, NEVER use their service department! I bought a used Jeep G.C. from here recently. It was in great condition and after inspecting it before purchase off the lot without a sales rep found I bought a used Jeep G.C. from here recently. It was in great condition and after inspecting it before purchase off the lot without a sales rep found some minor issues we wanted taken care of. Like the tires, which were replaced. The windshield, which was replaced but only after 3 phone calls back to the sales rep to get the ball rolling. The power steering leak we'd found, which they 'fixed' with a new hose. The vehicle was under a 60 day warranty and when new issues quickly arose (leaked everyday same spot/amount, squeak from fuel tank area, power steering stiffness) after about a week of driving I called to see what they could do. The service department was extremely busy and said they'd squeeze it in. Unfortunately that left me stranded without a vehicle and with kids who had to be to school. After many rude phone calls with them I had my spouse call to get a better answer. I was given a rental and waited without word about what they'd found. I finally called them and was told it was of course something not covered under the warranty and would cost $1400!!! That was only one of the issues. The other was supposedly covered by the warrenty and so they replaced that no charge, they ignored the 3rd issue and said it was fine. My spouse had to negotiate a deal over the $1400 repair. Stated it was something that voided the sale due to how it should have failed their 'purchase safety inspection.' They cut the price in half and spent another few days working on my Jeep. I got it back and low and behold, same leak in the same spot/amount, and the squeak was still there, and the power steering just kept getting worse. I waited another month or so until I was due for an oil change (and a recall inspection). I left it with them the evening before and waited all the next day, no call. Again, I called them. I was told "all of the repairs we have done didn't seem to hold, we will do them again but you have to leave it with us for 6 more days"!!! Again, my spouse had to call to find out if they'd be charging us (said no it was all warranty work) and gave us a rental. By the afternoon before the rental was due back my spouse was fed up waiting for an answer and called again. He was told that the leak wasn't the part they'd replaced before (even though the leak is clearly the same as it is in the same spot/amount) and they'd have to charge $300 for the repair of this leak. They said the part they'd installed to fix the squeak had in fact failed and they'd replace that free of charge (even though after the 1st replacement the squeak never stopped). They stated they could not make the power steering issue arise at all. My spouse was furious, said no to the leak repair, asked them to check the power steering again and go ahead and replace the part for the squeak. They said it would be done by the time my rental was due the next day. Spouse and I went to pick up my Jeep and were of course told to go pay (?) for it 1st. Sure enough they tried to charge us for the warranty part to fix the squeak! My husband asked to see the manager and the receptionist said he was right behind her talking to someone else. When she told him she had customers with questions he waited until she turned back to us then disappeared. We waited nearly 20 mins while she tried to call him. She finally got fed up too and walked us to the service department and low and behold look who is there, coat on, keys in hand telling a service guy goodnight!! Yup he was bailing! We showed the 'bill' and had to prove that we'd already had this item replaced by them! They finally got it down to $0 and we had to wait another 20 mins to get new paperwork. In the meantime they pulled my Jeep into the main service drop off bay. Told me the keys were in it and I was free to go. My spouse waited as I started it and sure enough THAT SQUEAK IS STILL THERE!! I jumped out and said that's the squeak and they said, well we must have missed diagnosed what it was but if I brought it back another time they would fix it (BUT SINCE IT WASN'T THE PART THEY REPLACED IT WOULD COST ME!!)! We took my Jeep home and of course had problems with the power steering they said they couldn't duplicate. Of course after parking it in it's usual spot it still leaked as they never fixed it to begin with. But low and behold I now have a massive puddle of power steering fluid leaking out (in a completely different spot than the other leak) by the next morning. So long story short, they had my Jeep in their shop a total of 3 times. It had 3 initial problem (power steering stiffness, leak, squeak). Well now I have 4 problems and have been out of my vehicle for over 2 weeks time for nothing and it cost me $700!! They are frauds. Never again will they see any of our business which is sad for them as we own 4 Jeeps!! Please save yourself the heartache and go anywhere else but here!! More
