I went in to get my final oil change on my Gladiator with the wave program and thought it would be simple. My service rep, Danny, was nice enough but over the entire 2hr wait (which he was upfront about), no the wave program and thought it would be simple. My service rep, Danny, was nice enough but over the entire 2hr wait (which he was upfront about), not once did he come out with any type of estimate or say I’d have any charges to expect. Then the girl at the service reception called me up and handed me a bill for $140 for a cabin air filter!?! I told her I was never informed of any changes and she could have cared less, was rude, and didn’t offer any type of help or solution. I’ve worked at several dealerships and this is not how you do business, I should have been informed at some point over the 2hrs of sitting in the waiting area that there would be a charge, especially for this much on what I thought was my final free oil change. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. Edit: Danny called me to discuss everything and was very professional, courteous, and made sure I got my issues addressed and taken care of. Had the worst experience with this dealership. No reimbursement for my Uber since the shuttle was not operating due to staff shortages. Got my bid back for $1,400 which I then decided to shop around and the first place I called told me $700 max and $1,400 was a robbery. Declined the service and said I would be coming to get my car. Showed up to a $200 charge without letting me know there would be a large diagnostic fee. Walked away spending $230 for a Uber and diagnostic fee. My husband just bought a brand new jeep grand Cherokee summit in April from this dealership and we both will never return for future jeeps or services on our cars. What a scam. Worst customer service and attitude. Very disappointed in the stigma with women at auto shops but seems to be true here. More
We own two Jeeps and always bring them to AutoNation Chrysler Jeep West for service. Not only are we always treated with respect and courtesy but they make us feel like we’re family.
