My review is not for actual work performed it is about the service rep and I guess the dealership. I have a 2026 Explorer and took it in for service. I booked the appointment online and asked for recomm the service rep and I guess the dealership. I have a 2026 Explorer and took it in for service. I booked the appointment online and asked for recommended services for the current 12,000 miles. I was told an alignment and throttle bode intake services were recommended along with usual oil change and tire rotation. Didn't have time to question it as my ride was waiting just thought WOW I really did buy a race car. When I got home and started looking I did not see the alignment or throttle body intake services were due and I didn't say I was having any problems that would call for either. It had only been about 15 minutes since I left the dealership so I called the dealership and spoke to someone who answered the service line telling them to have the 2 extra services removed from the order. He kept me on the phone finally saying 'I sent her the message she will see it' and didn't think any more about it. When I went to pick up my car it wasn't ready at the agreed upon time and when I did get it (was only 30 minute delay) the extra work had been done with the rep telling me she didn't get a message. I have asked twice for her reference for recommended services with no response. My only conclusion is that I was victim of an upsell (I do not have any proof but did reach out for answers) and feel I can now not trust the dealership. Car was also not washed and their web site says all are sanitized, saw no evidence of that either. There are plenty of others Ford dealers around. More
