Our MKZ was in for an oil change and some recall work . I have not visited this dealership in several years due to a really bad service experience. I had an appointment for 11 am for an oil change, tire patch, balance and rotate and alignment check. I got there at 10:30 and they got my truck back immediately and was told it would be about 2 hours. I patch, balance and rotate and alignment check. At the 1 hour mark I was told I had 3 people in front of me and was offered a ride somewhere but I declined because I live 40 minutes away and had no where I wanted to go. At the 2 hour mark I was told it was almost ready. 30 minutes later I checked on it and was told it would be another hour or so because they were overbooked. There were people that were there after me and was done before mine. At hour 3 I was apologized to and told that it was almost ready again. I asked if it would be another hour and was told no it won't be. A few minutes shy of hour 4, I was told it was ready. I was given a discount and another apology just to get into my truck to find they didn't re-train the tire sensors so I had to go get someone to do that. I finally left about 2:40. The service writer Melissa was great and it wasn't her fault but it was the worst oil change experience I have ever had at Autonation Arlington. I bought my truck from them and have taken it to them for an oil change every time and it's never been this bad. Please fix your appointment system and get people in when their appointment actually is. More
