I made an appointment online for 2 recall repairs on my 2017 Ford Explorer. I input the Recall reference numbers and my cars VIN. The day before the appointment I got a call from the service tech asking fo 2017 Ford Explorer. I input the Recall reference numbers and my cars VIN. The day before the appointment I got a call from the service tech asking for the VIN number so he could make sure they had the parts. I didn't have it handy but told him that I wrote it on the appointment request. He said he didn't get that. That should have been my first indication that this place was not up to speed. I was able to find that and brought the car in. The service tech was nice and I left the car. He said it might be ready that afternoon. He called me that afternoon to tell me car was done and now I could go out of town as planned. I told him I wasn't going out of town and had never talked about that. Then he explained that he had me confused with another customer he was going to call, but my car was done. Then he called me 5 minutes later to tell me the car was done. I told he had just called me to tell me that. He made up an excuse that he called me before to tell me that it "Probably" was going to be done, but now it was done. The recalls were to replace the roof rails and fix a sharp metal burr on the drivers and passenger seat rails that could cut you. When I picked up the car the first thing I noticed was that both driver and passenger seats were fully reclined and in lowest position. I don't know how the guy was able to bring me the car that way. Then in the cup holders was trash from the adhesive tapes they used to cover the seat burrs. I also noted the mileage and the car have been driven 5 miles since I dropped it off the day before. I didn't realize it was that far to go around to the back of the building. When I got home I noticed that the seat fabric was loose around the edges. Then I saw that all the seat clips (that hold down the fabric covers) on the console side of the seats, were not attached. I had to find the video on line on the recall repair to see where the clips attached to and do it myself. While watching the video I saw that they put some of the fix it tape on the part where the clips attach (which is not were it was supposed to go) and didn't put it on a metal hook that sticks out which is were it was supposed to go. Even though this is my closest Ford dealer, I will never take any of my Fords back there for anything. More
Good service, it took too long for what the service was about it. (2+ hrs for oil change) even though I made an appointment ahead of time. I have had a few bad experiences with this location before, but this time it was far better. I will return to AutoNation Frisco for future service. I would have given 5 stars had I not have to wait 30 before, but this time it was far better. I will return to AutoNation Frisco for future service. I would have given 5 stars had I not have to wait 30 minutes after my truck was done, pulled in the finished lane, to get the keys. More
Had a great service experience - good interaction with the people, prompt service and fair pricing. My Mustang needed an oil change and a tire rotate and everything went well, it was done right on time, a the people, prompt service and fair pricing. No issues at time of service, great service writer, but it was hard to schedule beforehand. I had some questions first, called a few times looking for a live person. Kept going to voice mail. Left a message to contact me via text only, was several days and I got a voice call back, so someone wasn't paying attention. I finally had to go out of my way and stop in in person to talk to a service advisor, did that, and then scheduled it right there. Shouldn't have had to work it that way. Other dealers in the past have let me E-mail about this and gotten right back to me, or done texting as requested. More

Work on my car took longer than expect, but this was due to a recall. Once I was able talk to a rep, I was provided the information I needed. Upfront staff was very nice . Maintenence department left my wheel lugs loose. Did not service what they said they will. Finally did not take vehicle through drive through wash. Sadly, I have nothing positive to say. They kept my truck twice as long as they said they would keep it. They billed me wrong since I have both the Ford extend service plan and the AutoNat They kept my truck twice as long as they said they would keep it. They billed me wrong since I have both the Ford extend service plan and the AutoNation Platinum extended warranty and they said they were unaware of that until I told them (PS: I bought the car from them!). I asked numerous times if they would wash the car after being there for a week and half with no loaner care given, and each time they said nothing. Then when I picked it up it was dirtier than when I dropped it off. The service man said they were fur-lowed back when Covid started. All of these issues are bad enough but then when I got in the truck to pick it up and turned it on with the service advisor in the passenger seat and they they didn't fix the touch screen? Hopefully I am the exception and their entire service department is not as poorly run as what I experienced. Throughout the entire extended time they had my truck they only gave me updates after I wrote them several times. More
