Hard to make phone contact, appts to far out. Show up and they find way to sell service and perform?? I tried to make appt foe oil change. They told me 3 weeks. Something wrong here, or am I crazy. More

The employees are not the problem, not having enough employees is the problem. The first customer service person told me that I would get an email when to bring in my car for the diagnosis along with t employees is the problem. I bring it on the day mention on the email and i was told by another employee that I had to leave my vehicle there for almost 2 weeks while it wait for a diagnosis test which is insane. I have no other way to work except my vehicle. So I'm trying to see when I can get a week off from work so I would not have to worry about transportation to my job. I will reschedule once I have that figured out. Thanks in advance More

The worst service experience ever. The service department showed they don't care about their customer vehicles or customer retention. I went in for my first oil change and they did not give me a call or an u showed they don't care about their customer vehicles or customer retention. I went in for my first oil change and they did not give me a call or an update on my vehicle while in service. The technician left oil stains all over the hood, drivers door handle area, armrest, steering wheel, seat and door panel. I had to take my vehicle to a carwash afterward to clean all the oil stains. The technician also failed to add windshield washer fluid even after the windshield washer fluid light was on. The Coolant Reservoir also showed to be below minimum and I was not notified or ask to bring vehicle back to check for coolant leaks. Service Advisor Fabian Castillo offer to add "WATER" not "Ford Premix Coolant/Antifreeze" to the coolant reservoir for the mean time. No multi point inspection was given or a showed to me after check out. I will never bring my vehicle to this location for service or recommend anyone to do service with them. More

2018 Ford Escape SEL. Check engine light popped on first weekend in November. Had vehicle towed to Autonation Fire Frisco. Car keys dropped off - unlabeled. Calls placed following Monday were unanswered weekend in November. Had vehicle towed to Autonation Fire Frisco. Car keys dropped off - unlabeled. Calls placed following Monday were unanswered and voicemails not returned. Had to pay an in person visit to discover keys were dropped off when car was towed. In an unlabeled envelope. Was told initially car couldn’t be seen until November 29th. Huh…. After some negotiation told later that week. Ended up having to tow car on my own dime to another mechanic. Diagnosis - spark plugs. Kind of a relief except when you look at the vehicle, which has all of 45k miles. Lifespan should be 100k - BTW these are Ford Motorcraft plugs. Spark plugs extremely difficult to pull by qualified mechanics. Odd. They communicate with Autonation Ford - known issue that they are quite nonchalant about. Oh okay. Quite well known I come to find out as they have a special tool for them. That didn’t work. along with 5 other tools. Ford remained quite nonchalant. Alrighty… Just short of pulling the head the spark plugs were finally pulled after 3 weeks as no one wants to damage the engine. More than one was crispy - and I do mean black and crispy. An added bonus of a piece of one actually dropped into the cylinder.- needed full flush and examination to ensure the cylinder/piston etc wasn’t damaged.. Keep in mind the special load this Escape transports is me. My pup too sometimes. And some golf clubs. $1,400 in labor and parts and they were replaced. Ford remained nonchalant and certainly didn’t seem to be concerned. So I’m not longer either as I’ve flipped the car to some else and in a 2022 Honda CRX. Pretty sure they don’t have Ford Motorcraft plugs. Before this my experience of the Service shop at Autonation Ford was ok to good. Now? Well my sale of a vehicle should speak volumes as I only buy new and drive them literally to 200k miles and beyond. If this is happening now I really don’t want to see what happens next. Spark Plugs. $1,400. And without a vehicle in Texas for almost a month. A month. For an extremely low mile vehicle. And a dealer/company that knows of the issue and really doesn’t care.. Thanks but no thanks. More
