Just have a clear protocol when coming in for service. Please check in at the service desk....a sign like that. Or wait in your vehicle a service rep will come out to meet you. The same when picking up your car. Have a sign, please get your paperwork at the service desk first. Or please go to the financial office first. This also could be clarified on the phone call by the rep. When you pick up your car your paperwork will be at the financial office. Train your service reps to discern the difference between a 68 year old customer and a 25 year old customer. Older people appreciate either Mr. or sir. First names are okay, but "buddy" definitely is out. Like I said, when you are perceived as the more expensive option for servicing a vehicle, you need to be top notch in customer relations, otherwise why go here?
