I have always been happy with Auto Nation Ford Wolfchase, maybe because my Lincoln has always been on warranty and they could charge what they wanted and I was happy with the work. My warranty ran out in J maybe because my Lincoln has always been on warranty and they could charge what they wanted and I was happy with the work. My warranty ran out in June and I had to take my car in for service, which required a mechanic, I also had to wait almost 5 weeks to see one. My car in the warranty time has not seen a mechanic, always an oil changer, so when ever I took it in the things I ask to have checked were only done by my service writer and the service manager. My car needed a belt tension-er and they looked under the hood and said it was fine. Now I take it in to have that work done and it was going to cost me over a thousand dollars, I ask why this was not done when it was under warranty, two years ago, they said they were backlogged, and I ask for it to be covered now and they said "no" it is not under warranty any longer. It was disappointing to hear they say that, because we have bought the 2014 Lincoln there and a $5000 extra package for maintenance and then a new 2018 Ford F150, so we have always given them our business, until now. When I said that the cost was too much and I would take it to someone else, I got the biggest cold shoulder and was handed my key and the bill waved in my face and said never mind I will take care of this. No big deal since all they did was look at it and give me the highest estimate they could come up with, so I was not impressed by Barbara Myers giving me the attitude. I have always given her the best rating but this time her true colors came out when I said I would take it somewhere else, because they should cover it, I brought it in several times while it was under warranty to have the work done, and was willing to leave it all day, but she said they had no mechanics available. How do you run a service department with no or very few mechanics, HOW? I am very dissapointed in this and wish it had not happened, we will never buy a Ford product again! More
