We bought this car in February along with the dealerhip's extended warranty. We then got an e-mail, not a call, two weeks later telling us we owed another $700 because they did not figure the amounts correct extended warranty. After another two weeks of us trying to call in about this issue we were told that the person would call us back, that was 4 months agao and we have NEVER had a callback. We then went to register our car about two months after the purchase and were advised that we could not do so as the paperwork submitted by the dealership was wrong. We went to the dealership to follow-up and were provided with an additional temp tag. At that time we asked about the $700 issue, without any review the person just said "It was probably written off." Shortly after this (again we've had the car less than two months) our brakes started grinding, this was concerning as we were told during the purchase that the brakes were completely replaced in January. We spent over two months calling to try to get an appointment. That experience itself was horendous. Hours of waiting on hold, several promised callbacks, several dropped transfers, or in some cases just straight being hung-up on. Finally we got ahold of someone who was willing to schedule us for an appointment. The appointment itself was an absolute nightmare. The receptionist told us that the issue we came in for was likely our fault, and therefore they would not cover any repairs for the brakes, and probably wouldn't even really look at it. When the car came out of the garage, the mechanic was very open and told us that they did not do anything with the brakes because they have it noted that they did the brakes in January. He also advised us that he was the one worked on the car in January and advised the dealership that the brakes and rotors were under spec, which was the same thing he advised them this time, but was not allowed to fix it. He did suggest that we go somewhere else that will go ahead and replace the brakes. After the appointment our cars brakes are still the same, however they some how installed a new, and very concerning, loud vibrating noise under the hood. It is so loud that a number of neighbors have come to ask us about the kind of car, where we got it, where we had it serviced, because they want to make sure to AVOID these issues. This was all after we had initally talked up the car for being so quite and smooth, that is why so many people cirlced back to find out what happened. This review was edited to deal directly with the issues and take out any kind of personal rant. To summarize, since purchase: We have not been able to register the car We were told we owed an addtional $700 - we do not know where this charge went The "newly" replaced brakes started grinding It took two months to get a service appointment We were treated like crap during our service appointment We were charged a diagnostic fee for the brakes to stay "under spec" We now have a noise that is so loud it is embarassing to drive More
Great communication and no BS. They did their best to get my car back to me the same day even though they were short staffed, but they got it done which was wonderful!
