New Azera Salesman was good in introducing my to Hyundai. I went car shopping to 5 other dealerships and did a lot of research online in advance. The sales manager made me a great deal that no one could beat and the vehicle had more than I was looking for and met my budget needs. Pickup of the vehicle was a disappointing experience. I had an appointment and the sales agent had the vehicle ready but no one else seemed aware that I was coming. Paperwork was not done in advance so I had to wait for the finance person to be free then wait while he prepared my paperwork. He even asked "were we expecting you today?"He even had to redo some of the paperwork because I called to his attention that the payments he put on the contract was not what was agreed to. Same time waster with the insurance, which I'm not sure why that had to be done on site since my insurance is current and would cover a new vehicle temporarily. No one told me that needed to be done before I picked up the car and I never experienced that before. Had I known, I would have gotten a rider from my insurance agent before I came in to pick up the car. Salesman gave me a brochure on the vehicle but did not walk me through the features so I pretty much have to do that part on my own - learn about my car features etc. and set up the app, etc. I was at the dealership for over two hours for this process. Confusion on dealer behalf cost us more money Let me begin with the dealer representative that corresponded with me via email was incredibly helpful and prompt with her responses. It was her actio Let me begin with the dealer representative that corresponded with me via email was incredibly helpful and prompt with her responses. It was her actions that brought us to this dealership, rather than driving to Jacksonville, which offered us a deal that was $500 better. Once we arrived, there was quite a bit of confusion as to the agreed price, approximately $1800 greater. The explanations were that she should not have made the statements that she did, to the vehicle at Jacksonville was different and when those explanations were unsatisfactory they stated the price difference was due to tires being worn on our trade in. In spite of the fact that the issues with employees doing/saying things is not the customers problem and the fact that the price negotiated was for the vehicle on their lot, not for the vehicle on the Jacksonville lot, we still ended up paying $500 more than what we originally agreed on. I'll close with, we did get a good deal, but it was a bit of a hassle to get there and paid $500 more than we originally negotiated. The staff, in general, was very polite and the dealership was welcoming and well stocked. If not for the price issue, I would likely have rated this dealership with 5 stars and it would be the dealership I would recommend to anyone. More
