For anyone who gets this “deeply disappointed” and “discuss what we can do to help” invitation from AutoNation after a poor review, the phone number the company gives is not a dedicated line. It’s another number for the same international call center used to make appointments, with no customer service option on the phone menu. After I received the message above, I called the number several times over the course of a month and spoke to various call center reps. Following the first call, I was informed in an email that an area manager would be responding, likely within 24 hours. When over a week passed without me hearing from anyone, I called a second time and was assured in an email that my concern had been forwarded to an “escalation team.” Once again, I was not contacted by anyone. After two more weeks, I called a third time, and a representative verbally told me that my concern would be transmitted to the operations manager. Why bring this to the operations manager, when it’s the decision of the operations manager that I’ve been trying to escalate? What happened to the area manager and the escalation team? Regardless, it’s now been almost seven weeks and no one ever has responded. I would lower my one-star customer service rating to zero stars if I could. The message AutoNation posted on this board of wanting to discuss what it could do to help me was insincere and phony, written to make it look to potential customers like AutoNation was concerned when it was not.

The AutoNation Mobile service was good but the guy that was sent to change my car's oil and filter threw the hood when he closed it. A Toyota Corolla's hood does t need to be thrown from far up. With a bit of pressure with the hood closes perfectly. There is no need to throw it from far up. Also, there isn't much communication between the Auto Nation Mobile and AutoNation dealerships. Other than that, I'd say that they have donde their part and did a good job in the end. Car works and it runs well.
