I’m not sure how they were pre-covid but service was 50/50. I called on a Saturday to ask how much it would be to get a check engine light diagnostic done. The cashier on the phone, who sounded like I had awaken her with my call, said $100 (I know I can get it for free elsewhere but it wasn’t reading the car). I drive to the dealership service area and was told from the manager that I have to have an appointment. Due to Covid they have half of the staff working and are not taking walk-ins. He said I could come first thing Monday morning and ask for him. So I get there on time on Monday and don’t see the manager but I’m being helped so I don’t say anything. I get called back to discuss why I’m there and was told that the price for diagnostic isn’t $100 but rather $175, but they allowed me to pay the $100. I was told they changed the price a few months prior and needed to let all the cashier know of the change. He then tells me it would be about an hour and a half before I will know anything. He said if by 10 I haven’t been called he would check. Which is weird to me because literally just needed the codes but whatever I brought stuff for work with me. So I waited, at about 11 I got up and asked what is going on. I was told they were on the phone with tech for Nissan. Turns out the things that needed to be fixed costs more than the car is worth so I had to get a new car. I asked if what was wrong could be rewritten or typed because the handwriting looked like chicken scratch to me, but all I was to do was take a picture. At that point I knew for sure I wasn’t getting anything fixed. Based on my experience with Nissan as a whole and not just this dealership I got a new car elsewhere and made sure it wasn’t a Nissan. I get they were short staffed but it shouldn’t have taken almost 4 hours to tell me what the codes were. More
Really a great experience, the advisor was super knowledgeable about all the details and all my concerns with the car, plus he was more than beyond my expectations in his advice his faster solution knowledgeable about all the details and all my concerns with the car, plus he was more than beyond my expectations in his advice his faster solution and in general his best service. First I would like to say thanks to Antonio and Bob, if it was not them I never had my car fixed. The customer service now is horrible. No one answer the phone. When the answer and transfer the call no one it was not them I never had my car fixed. The customer service now is horrible. No one answer the phone.
