David Hantman was our salesman… He was very accommodating and tried to get us a car that we wanted as soon as possible! I bought Toyota for reliability but I'm not impressed with their customer service to this point. Initially while looking at the vehicle that I eventually bought, I was told it could be washed and filled with their customer service to this point. Initially while looking at the vehicle that I eventually bought, I was told it could be washed and filled with gas. After paperwork was signed and I received my keys, I went out to vehicle and saw that it hadn't been washed or filled with gas. I went back inside, found my salesperson and mentioned that the gas hadn't been filled. She said it was denied because it was a used vehicle, not a new one. $47k plus interest and I can't get one free fillup! Also, that purchase price included an extended warranty and maintenance package. But the first time I take it in to be serviced, Toyota comes back with services recommended that cost over $1k. Why wasn't this inspection done serviced before I bought the vehicle? I bought it late August 22 and now in early December 22, I'm already being quoted over 1k cost that warranty or maintenance package doesn't cover! I feel like I was taken advantage of to a degree! Not so much by the people helping me but by Toyota's business practices. More

In sum: I was never allowed to test drive my 4runner before paying for it, and I was never shown/offered a walkthrough or instructions on how to use anything in my brand-new car. Really I believe this is a poor sales transaction and I would not recommend anyone, in the case they had the same experience as me. I'm sure this is different with different sales people, but I hope I was the only one with this type of experience. I purchased a 4Runner in February of 22'. This process was below average. They never let me test drive the car before buying it. Granted it wasn't on the lot, but when I arrived to buy it, I wasn't allowed to test drive it because I would add miles if I didn't purchase it. Not to mention when I was trading in my car, the person test-driving beat the holy xxxx out of it. Flooring it everywhere, treating it like it was a toy, and not caring. Granted it was a sports car, but it is MY CAR still. Then being young, I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me with xx markups and additives that I was told I "was required to pay for" or they would cancel my deal. I had done my research and found rules & laws and showed this to the salesperson. They quit "forcing' things upon me as I knew what they were doing. Once we signed all the paperwork and was handed the keys, that was it. Never once got shown around the car by the salesman. During this entire process, I was never shown the car/its functions. I had never owned a 4WD car before and had no idea that you shouldn't drive 4WD at highway speeds. I had to figure this all out on my own. This can cause serious damage to the drivetrain and many other high-price issues. Luckily i haven't had these issues, but a normal non-car person, they would have no idea how to use the car and cause severe damage. More
