I brought my 2021 4 Runner that I bought from HM Brown into you because my tire sensor light was not going off and should be covered under warranty. I got it checked in and signed a bunch of papers none into you because my tire sensor light was not going off and should be covered under warranty. I got it checked in and signed a bunch of papers none of which said there would be a charge. I then went home after they told me it would likely be 5-7 hours, yes 5-7 hours to fix a tire sensor. Then about an hour after I got home they called and said the tire sensor was after market and they could not replace it under warranty after and would be $450 to fix the problem. I told them don’t fix it if Its not under warranty. I then went back to pick up my vehicle and was hit with a surprise $100 diagnostic fee that I had never agreed to. After talking to 3 different people they finally agreed to not charge me as long as I never come back. First of all, how can you stick someone with a $100 diagnostic fee without consent? Yes, the work order said diagnostic to fix tps, but never a fee, as I was under the impression it would be under warranty since it only has 8,000 miles on it. Secondly, I have a Toyota 4 Runner that has an aftermarket tire sensor on it within 8,000 miles meaning the factory sensor was not very good. The fact it takes so long to make an appointment with you is why there was an aftermarket sensor being used. Finally, you are a Toyota dealership and I brought you a Toyota vehicle still under warranty. I would have thought even though I didn’t buy the car from you, you wound want to stand by your brand, and create a positive image for your company and help me out with this issue. More
It took at least 3 calls to get to speak to a scheduler about a recall notice. She made a big deal about getting my vin # so that the part would be ready when i brought my vehicle in for a 7.30am appointm about a recall notice. At 3 pm i was told the vehicle had been inspected and that they would then order the part which i was initially told would be there. The service tech then told me when i asked about this when i went to pick up my vehicle, that i should have asked her about this and this wasn't her problem. When i responded that why would i ask this when i was assured by her scheduler that the part would be there, she responded that it wasn't her job to tell me this. Forget the inconvenience of not having a vehicle for one day but now i have to deal with this issue again when the part is ready. Even money i won't even get a call when it is ready and i will have to follow up. More

I had a scheduled appointment for my 20,000 mile complementary service. I met Ken when I arrived and he was most helpful, he got all the paperwork squared away and suggested that they check the alig complementary service. I met Ken when I arrived and he was most helpful, he got all the paperwork squared away and suggested that they check the alignment. I said that was fine but it was brand new and should be ok. A little while later I received a text message that an alignment was needed and it would be 144.95 to do it. I looked on the paperwork that was sent with it and it was out the same on both side by .02 degrees so 2 hundredths of an inch. I declined. I got the car back in the scheduled time and proceed to go home. When home I decided to check the oil just to make sure it was right. When I opened the hood I found little droplets of oil on the valve cover by the fill cap and a trail over to the side and on the fender I cleaned it up. Then I noticed that there was antifreeze on the inner fender liner and all around on the tank. I cleaned that all up also. I looked under the car and found the access cover that you use to get the oil filter and oil drain plug was not installed properly. The tab that goes in the plastic cover was outside the cover instead and all the bolts were run back in putting a bend in the cover. I crawled underneath and removed the cover and replaced it properly back on the car. The attention to detail is lacking or they just don't care. More

Service writer Nicole. Had 7 a.m. app. Arrived at 6:30 a.m. Nicole signed me in. Said it would take 3.5 to 4 hrs to complete everything. Waited 4 hrs she came to me an Had 7 a.m. app. Arrived at 6:30 a.m. Nicole signed me in. Said it would take 3.5 to 4 hrs to complete everything. Waited 4 hrs she came to me and said they didn't know where my Highlander was and that no one had been assigned to work on it. She said she would get oil changed in 20 mins. 45 mins later she said we found your car and everything was done. I will never buy a car from here nor will I ever get service done here. I will be sure everyone I know hears about my dissatisfaction. Service sucks More
