I have faith that David Kwon was just having a bad day. My first first visit at Cerritos Toyota service was disappointing. David just seemed uninterested to assist me and appeared to be unwelcoming. Customer service is exceptional and professional. My car was due for oil change, brake fluid, coolant replacement service and alignment. Everything was done as the advisor recommended. When my car was done she communicated to me that during the alignment process the technician discovered that one of my new tire was defective and had a video to show me why. I’m glad I did my alignment with Toyota since the tires I bought are new only 5 months old. This is what we call proactive not reactive and gives me a peace of mind knowing that my vehicle is in great shape. I’m glad I was able to correct the finding. Basic service took longer that they told me (2 1/2 - 3 hours) l, so I had to wait longer…not cool. When it was done and just about to drive off I noticed that the “maintenance required” notification on th hours) l, so I had to wait longer…not cool. When it was done and just about to drive off I noticed that the “maintenance required” notification on the dash display was still on (not a good feeling) which immediately made me think did you (Toyota of Cerritos) actually do the service that was promised. One of the staff had to reset the notification on my dash. I was also upsold ($150) on a wheel alignment that I probably didn’t need as It is a brand new car. I am still on the complimentary oil changes and felt like I was being ripped off for the “wheel alignment service. I just didn’t have a good feeling when I left. More
