Our experience at this dealership was disappointing. We were there from about 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, which felt unnecessarily long. The finance portion of the process was stressful. The finance representative did not initially provide copies of the loan paperwork. I also felt pressured to accept warranties that I did not intend to purchase. A manager later explained that the warranties could be canceled two to three weeks later, after the bill was received, by contacting him via email. I also requested business cards for follow-up purposes, but none were provided, with the explanation that business cards were expensive. I recommend that future customers carefully review all documents and ask for copies and ask somebody else for help. More

This is like the fourth time I had no choice to come to the hayward autonation car service and yet again not a great service. I usually go to the one in Oakland. One Toyota of Oakland. They are way more or the hayward autonation car service and yet again not a great service. I usually go to the one in Oakland. One Toyota of Oakland. They are way more organized there when it comes to pulling up and having someone greet you right away. The set up is better for "walk-ins" and people with appointments. At Autonation hayward you just drive up and hope someone comes to you in a timely manner. Every single time I've been here with an appointment it takes up to 20 minutes to even get seen/checked in. There is no system and they just go to anyone. But, I recently had no choice to go here again on 1-7-26 and I came in for routine maintenance for my Rav4 2022. The salesperson upsold me on some stuff I assumed I needed per his recommendation and later realized I did not need it. He recommended I get Ethanol Corrosion inhibitor and proform engine crankcase fuel system cleaning. While I waited I did some quick research and realized I did not need those services. I went and spoke with the salesperson and he said "it was too late to remove it" I asked if he was sure that they didn't start work he said yes. But, he didn't even radio anyone or really try to confirm whether they started working on my vehicle or not. He just said twice he assumes they did already. I also noticed that there was a charge for something I didn't even ask for nor did he mention it. It was for windshield wiper fluid. He said he was going to remove it from the bill and I quote "it's only a $3 charge" Um, okay, I still didn't need nor want it. Needless to say, he did NOT remove it from the bill and I was charged for it. Knowing my car is only 3 years old and in good condition I'm not sure why he even recommended something he knew I didn't need. It was $181 so it's not like it was a small priced service. I paid the price and did not want to argue because I should have rejected and did my research before I agreed but, I do not feel like he was willing to try and help me out and cancel the work he knew I did not need.Now, my car squeaks when I back up. Something that didn't happen before I even took my car in. No customer service and overall they just try and get your money. This is the last time I will be coming here. Do yourself a favor and go to One Toyota of Oakland or somewhere else besides here. More
