Incorrectly or missed the proper diagnosis of the issue requested. The appointment was to diagnose two separate light/electrical issues: Fog lights not working, and High beam light having low outp requested. The appointment was to diagnose two separate light/electrical issues: Fog lights not working, and High beam light having low output/intensity (primary concern). While a diagnosis video was sent to me, it only addressed the fog light issue. The invoice likewise documents only the fog light diagnosis and recommended solution. There is no documentation or evidence that the high beam concern was properly inspected. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the service advisor stated that the high beam was “working as it should.” I had clearly documented the high beam malfunction in a video and requested to show this to the technician who performed the inspection. This request was declined. Instead, the advisor speculated that the issue could be due to an aging headlight housing or a bulb replacement. These suggestions were made without any supporting diagnosis. The low beam functions normally, which makes a housing issue unlikely. Additionally, this vehicle is equipped with projector LED headlights, not conventional replaceable bulbs as suggested. This strongly indicates that the high beam concern was not properly evaluated.
