I am not impressed with this dealer. I have purchased (2) cars from them over 5 years, and every time is not the best experience. Every time, they hit you with thousands of dollars in fe I have purchased (2) cars from them over 5 years, and every time is not the best experience. Every time, they hit you with thousands of dollars in fees they do not explain; they simply move money around from one column to the next. But this time, they even sneaked in a donation to HOPE that I do not recall authorizing. If these folks want to donate to HOPE, they should do it by all means from their profits and NOT my money. Also, I understand that Toyota has issues providing 2 keys for customers due to the never-ending chip shortage, but this dealer didn’t disclose anything like that to me prior to completing the deal. I gave them 2 keys from my trade. The dealer sold my Corvette for a healthy profit the very next day, as it only had 20,000 miles on it. I'm okay with that part of it since they must warranty the vehicle. Nevertheless, they charged me a $950 reconditioning fee for my trade – the most expensive car wash in the history of car washes. One would think that with all the fees they charged and moved around from one column to the next, they would do right by the customer and at the very least provide me with the second key, as they have them on hand in the service department. But no, it's all about maximizing profits for these folks. It's cumbersome with only one key between two drivers, and what if I misplace it? I was told I would have to tow the vehicle in for a new key to be made. I believe this is another way for them to take advantage of the customer. I strongly recommend exploring other Toyota dealers who have better practices before doing business with these folks. More
I recently took my vehicle in for maintenance and while some of the staff was friendly and accommodating, the employee specifically assigned to my vehicle was not. I have a baby so using their shuttle serv some of the staff was friendly and accommodating, the employee specifically assigned to my vehicle was not. I have a baby so using their shuttle service wasn’t much of an option as he requires a car seat to be installed. Instead, we stayed at the dealership while my vehicle was serviced. After a couple hours he finally took a nap and shortly after, the employee approached me to show me how to decline additional services recommended via text. She unintentionally woke my son, which is fine, but when she checked me out she was rude, short with me, and not even the least bit understanding that my son was crying at the most inconvenient moment. She just rushed me to check out and seemed bothered that I had questions or that I was trying to calm my son in the process. The quote sent via text for that day’s service was $50 below the actual price, so I asked for an itemized receipt and she rudely responded that the $50 was tax.. I’m sorry, what!? There’s no way I’m paying $50 in tax on an oil change. Then she claimed it was shop supplies. I’m not upset about the cost, but her shortness with me and lack of understanding that my child was crying was rather annoying, to say the least. I expected better customer service from Autonation Toyota. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning for my next service. More

Oil change process - drop off with Reservation was 1 hr 45 minutes. Clearly stated at drop off I had an hour to 75 mins max. The dealership offered Lyft to/from home which is 20 min each way. Excluding 45 minutes. Clearly stated at drop off I had an hour to 75 mins max. The dealership offered Lyft to/from home which is 20 min each way. Excluding 20 min drive there (drop off) and 20 min drive home (after pick up). Felt waiting was more efficient and allowed me to work at dealership - can’t work from lyft as rider without WiFi. My rep clearly had to push the techs to stay on schedule. Ended up rescheduling conference calls that required me to lead the meetings (sharing screens) that I couldn’t accomplish while driving or as a passenger. The checkout process took longer than necessary because the repair database was down. The vehicle serviced has only been serviced at Toyota in AZ, CA, OR and FL. With Toyota being a multi national company - have to believe they have better redundancy with their database access. The batter needs to be replaced on the next repair, the battery in use is from auto zone - I replaced it in the Grand Canyon since the closest dealership was over an hour away and couldn’t accommodate me the following day due to being fully built booked. The issue is the ambiguity of the recommendation to replace the voltage is 70% with no mfg recommendation to replace once battery only holds 50% of charge or whatever. As well as the vehicles operate with few repairs needed - clearly ambiguous recommendations are solely a revenue driver. Similar to the 5,000 mile oil changes. The factory delivered oil change is 15,000 miles (new or used certified by Toyota) yet every dealership recommends 5,000 oil changes again it’s only for revenue not to truly service customers honestly.
