AutoNation Toyota Pinellas Park - Service Center

We brought our Tacoma down from VA to stay at our second home in FL. It was over due for an oil change/tire rotation, and this was to be my first experience with this dealership. I easily got an appointme home in FL. It was over due for an oil change/tire rotation, and this was to be my first experience with this dealership. I easily got an appointment in the window that was easiest for us. I was impressed regarding the size of the dealership in general, and the service department in particular. There were dozens of cars pulling in during my 10am time slot, so I thought it might take several ours, Vincente said it would be ready in an hour and 15 minutes, and he was spot on. The surprise icing on the cake was that the service was free, as I had forgotten that was an aspect of the first 10k miles. So, on this experience? 5 STARS! More

Went in for an oil change, decided to get coolant system flush and throttle body cleaning. Polite staff, clean facility. I was happy overall. Only issue I had was when I got back into my car, as soon as I t flush and throttle body cleaning. Polite staff, clean facility. I was happy overall. Only issue I had was when I got back into my car, as soon as I turned the air on there was a humming noise. It was explained to me that it was probably a leaf or some such that was fluttering when they checked the air filter and that the noise should go away after awhile. It hasn't and it seems it's what my hearing focuses on when I'm driving with my air on. I guess I could make another appointment and drive up there to have the noise figured out, but I'm not going to waste my time. Overall cost was over $300.00 for service. More
