In seven years I've always had top notch service (except the one time the service manager told me I had tire rot and needed new tires. I took my car to a tire dealer who told me that my tires were in excell the one time the service manager told me I had tire rot and needed new tires. I took my car to a tire dealer who told me that my tires were in excellent order. That was 20,000 mile ago and they are still in excellent order.) Today's service went well and everything was done in a timely manner. Before today's visit when my car was done, a service manager would come out and tell me about what was going on. Now they send an E-mail telling me what needs to be done and asking my permission. I would like to talk one on one with a service manager as to the problems with my car and then I will give the okay. All in all it's still a good place to bring my car. More

I had an appointment at 9:30. They gave me Christie, a women who was tied up with another customer. I waited and waited, and since I had an appointment to make, I became very irri They gave me Christie, a women who was tied up with another customer. I waited and waited, and since I had an appointment to make, I became very irritated. Finally, after I went in to her station I was reassigned to another Service Manager David, I think was his name. He was kind, very understanding and efficient. I have bought several vehicles, been a customer since ca. 20001. I don't expect to be treated in such an unprofessional way.. Why make an appointment if you cannot expect to have it acknowledged? I feel the service is declining. I hope it is not becoming WOKE. If so, I will be leaving AutoNation Toyota Pinellas Park. My services experiences at AutoNation Toyota Pinellas Park have been steadily declining. I have been a services customer since 2013. I began having bad experiences with the detailing shop about 2 years ago. My last couple of details were a rushed sloppy job, and incomplete (never did the roof). I no longer have my vehicle detailed there.. Regarding service, if you are lucky enough to get a service tech that is experienced and knows what they are doing - great. But if you don't and you want something done that is not already on their drop down menu expect a frustrating experience. At my most recent visit I was told "3 hours" for a tire rotation, oil change, and to have the propellor shaft lubed and tightened. I was there for 5.5 hours, and then the service tech said my bill was over $700. Clearly he had no idea what he was doing - when I pushed back my bill went to $325. I find that the Service Management is scarce and not willing to talk with you. Too bad they don't operate like their Lexus Dealership. More
