The dealer refused to honor warranty repairs and fought us every step of the way. The adjuster even suggested we fix the improperly installed windshield gasket which caused a leak inside the vehicle oursel us every step of the way. The adjuster even suggested we fix the improperly installed windshield gasket which caused a leak inside the vehicle ourselves. Then he said that the warranty does not cover plastic and rubber parts. The truck developed a small rust spot a couple of inches above the windshield. The adjuster refused to fix it allegedly because it was a pebble strike, which it wasn't. We complained to Toyota about the poor service and they finally fixed the windshield gasket but we are still waiting on the repairs to the rust spot. Very poor service so we will not be doing business with this company again. More
I spoke to AfterSales Service Mgr Collin Mackiewicz regarding my recent out-of-state purchase of an Avalon Limited that had been treated with the with Toyota's Diamond Ceramic coating at the dealership regarding my recent out-of-state purchase of an Avalon Limited that had been treated with the with Toyota's Diamond Ceramic coating at the dealership prior to my purchase. The vehicle, a great car, was purchased only 4-5 months ago. However, the car has severe water spotting. I spoke to several highly-rated auto detailers in the St. Pete area, all of whom shared that such water spotting should never have occurred, further stating that the coating was either defective or applied in an incompetent fashion. I chose to take my auto to the closest Toyota dealership to express my concerns and air my complaint. Auto Nation Toyota's Collin Mackiewicz was professional, warm, thorough, and caring. In my view, he represents exactly what any business enterprise should want in someone serving in that position. Collin listened attentively to my concerns, showing an immediate willingness to lend assistance. He reviewed the entire exterior to understand the extent of the damage to the paint, windows, and grill. He contacted the dealership in MD, clarifying the claim process, including assisting me in downloading the ECP Claims app, obtaining my warranty number, and assisting me in uploading the appropriate pics for the claim application. I am currently working with ECP claims representative to seek redress and return the beautiful shine that my car had when purchased weeks ago. I am most appreciative of the kindness and professional handling of this customer's concerns by this aftersales service manager. Auto Nation Toyota is better because of the caliber of employees like Mr. Mackiewicz. Thank you for the opportunity to share my perceptions on this outstanding employee. Best to Auto Nation Toyota and your families! P.S. I would be remiss if I did not mention the immediate service and professional demeanor of Valet Jack Workman. He was altogether equally professional, caring, and rendered immediate assistance. In fact, he listened to my concerns and wish to speak to a manager, and he promptly reached out to the aftersales service manager, informing me of the action he took and that I would be seeing someone in a short few minutes. He, too, is someone who deserves the kind of recognition given to those who represent their company well. Kudos to Mr. Workman. More
