Took my 2025 Tundra in for first oil and filter change at ~5K miles. I left the vehicle for the service and did not wait on site. Service advisor communication was basic. I was disappointed they would not ~5K miles. I left the vehicle for the service and did not wait on site. Service advisor communication was basic. I was disappointed they would not complete alignment I requested that I think should be under warranty. The steering wheel angle has been off to the left since I got the vehicle new at another dealership. I had another dealership check alignment at around 500 miles, but they failed to bring steering wheel angle into alignment (steering wheel still offset slightly to the left when driving straight). This 5K service is the first opportunity I have had to revisit the alignment issue and I think it would have been much better customer service to perform the alignment again under warranty. Service advisor notified when oil/filter change was completed and vehicle ready for pickup. However, I checked under the vehicle when I returned home and noticed alot of excess oil on the sub frame crosspiece under the oil filter and also on the frame around the oil drain plug. This is sloppy work, there is no reason why the technician couldn't have simply used some brake cleaner and a rag to clean up the areas before returning the vehicle back to me as the customer. More
My sales person Kyle was the reason for making my experience a total pleasure. His knowledge, his lack of pushing us into a sale were only two of the reasons I purchased at Toyota. He was looking for what was best for me without being intrusive. Kyle was also able to share a little bit about himself without making the conversation all about Kyle. I will definitely be back to this Toyota dealership. I don’t believe it is the dealership I think it’s the people who work there.
