I recently purchased a Toyota Tundra from AutoNation Toyota South Austin, and this was genuinely the best dealership experience I have ever had. Joe DeAnda was professional, patient, and straightforward throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer my questions, explain the vehicle and its history, and make sure I was comfortable before moving forward. At no point did I feel pressured or rushed. I also really appreciated the sales manager taking the time to speak with me directly and clearly explain the recall situation. He was honest about what was known, what was still uncertain, and how Toyota was handling it. That transparency gave me confidence that I was making an informed decision rather than being given a sales pitch. The finance manager was equally professional. He clearly presented the available options without applying pressure or trying to sell me products I did not want. I have purchased many vehicles over the years, and this was easily the smoothest, friendliest, and most transparent dealership experience I have ever had. Joe, the sales manager, the finance manager, and the entire team earned my trust. I will absolutely return to AutoNation Toyota South Austin when it is time to purchase another Toyota. More

I've bought three brand new cars here from Alex. I came back specifically to deal with him. He makes buying a car fun (as it should be). No high pressure. I'm not a huge fan of getting anything done at the dealer (besides buying the car), but AutoNation's Service Department is pretty darn good. Our Prius came with free oil changes for life. Using only synthetic oil, that's a great reason for bringing it in every 10k miles. There are some things that only the dealer can do and I've had pretty good luck there. More

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I would not recommend AutoNation Toyota South Austin for service. I scheduled an appointment in advance, expecting the process to be efficient. Unfortunately, by the time I am writing th South Austin for service. I scheduled an appointment in advance, expecting the process to be efficient. Unfortunately, by the time I am writing this review, it has been over four hours and my tire still has not been replaced. What should have been a simple and routine tire replacement has turned into a frustrating waste of time. There has been very little communication about the delay, and no clear explanation as to why a scheduled appointment for a single tire replacement is taking this long. If appointments are not going to be honored in a timely manner, it defeats the purpose of scheduling one. The lack of urgency, poor communication, and disregard for customers’ time have made this a very disappointing experience. If you value your time, I would recommend looking elsewhere for service. More
