I went into AutoNation Toyota Tempe for my Tacoma's 10,000-mile service. I had made an appointment online and arrived 15 min prior to the scheduled time. I was greeted right away and the initial process to get my truck in to be serviced was good. As I was waiting in the well-presented lobby one of the customer service representatives approached me and asked if my wheel alignment was extremely off. This not only startled but annoyed me even more as there was absolutely nothing wrong with my Tacoma. Then he ran back and said his tech must have made a mistake. So, about an hour goes by, and he comes up and says my truck is good to go. Then I ask what the heck was the false flag alignment issue all about. He said his tech was new and that the wheel was in the lock position. I said great thanks for giving me the new guy, which doesn't inspire a lot of confidence on the rest of the work that was performed if he doesn't even know that the steering wheel can lock. All I can say is these tech's are supposed to be certified and maybe next time talk to the customer adviser or ask a more experienced coworker for advice before making a wrong diagnosis. Thx. More
My wife took her car in for normal maintenance service and Randy as always provided excellent service as he always he has done. I had 5 different Toyota Vehicles over 20 years and have been visiting Tempe AutoNation Toyota from 2009. Service Department is the best. They offer excellent customer service, take the time needed to under been visiting Tempe AutoNation Toyota from 2009. Service Department is the best. They offer excellent customer service, take the time needed to understand the needs of their unique customer base. The only gripe I have is about the attitude of Used Car Sales Department. They collect my contact, but never followed up when they have a used car for my needs. This has happened at least 3 times. They have also stopped keeping small cars in their Rental. Phoenix does lot of road repairs these days and I don't want to be driving huge rental vehicles with my insurance. More
Wade (sales) and Seth (finance) were great at selling us the car but we've called and left messages 4 times now asking for our financial paperwork to be emailed to us. Forget saving trees. Have them print it for you when you are there or you may never see it again. However, I need it to register my car so I don't know what I'm going to do. I may need to make the 5 hour drive back there to get it. We also had a few questions and no one has called us back. So overall, great place to buy a car but don't expect any customer service after. I purchased a used 4Runner somewhere else and wanted to have it checked fully out by this dealership. I was totally impressed with the immediate attention and care that I received at Tempe Toyota Service d have it checked fully out by this dealership. Anthony was exceptional to deal with and the service manager also made sure that I was happy. They exceeded my expectations in servicing my vehicle and I only wish I would have bought my vehicle from them in the first place.
