I had a great experience at Autonation Toyota Scion Tempe. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I walked in the door was very welcoming & ready to help. Once we f Do NOT buy your car here! After finding the car I wanted, I went in just wanting a purchase order having a preapproval with a credit union. Once we finally meet with the financing manager, Kyle S, he refused to give me a purchase order saying that the credit union I had my preapproval with screwed them over too many times (which he would’ve said with any place I had my own financing with because he doesn’t get kickback for it). I asked him why and he said because they told their members to go to the dealership and cancel GAP and Warranty and get it through them, which is way cheaper! So Kyle thinks that a credit union trying to save their members money and do what’s best for them is screwing over the dealership because he doesn’t get his money for those products! At this point in the night I’d been there for a couple hours so I allowed him to put my application through CUDL to see if maybe he could find me a better rate somewhere. After he did this, he couldn’t find me a better rate and proceeded to tell me that when he put in my application with the credit union I had financing with, they denied it. He said he had to call them in the morning and get everything straightened out. He didn’t give me ANY paperwork to go home with whatsoever. The next day I called the credit union and was told everything was still pending but it looks good. Fast forward about 3 weeks, I heard nothing from no one, crickets…, then all of the sudden, since it’s the end of the month I finally hear back from Kyle and he tells me the credit union I had financing with still denied it. All of this could have been resolved and funded if he would have given me my purchase order, like I asked for, in the first place. So I had to find other financing and thankfully I work for another credit union; so I call Kyle and tell him I have financing through my employer do NOT put my application in CUDL because I am employed with this credit union and my application can NOT go through CUDL. I asked him to send me the paperwork I signed because I wanted to see the contract that I signed and he told me he had customers waiting for him so he can’t do it right now. So I asked him to by the end of the day and he never sent it to me. After we hung up, not even 2 minutes later, I get a notification from my Experian and Credit Karma app that tells me my credit has been pulled. I was furious and I look into it further and it says that it was CUDL with the credit union that I work for! I immediately called him outraged, and when he answered the phone and I tell him who I am he says “oh xxxx” and then tries to cover it up by saying I was on speaker when he answered(how unprofessional)! I proceeded with telling him that I specifically told him not to pull my credit with my employer through CUDL. He begins to lie saying that he did that this morning because he assumed I would have it through them. I called him out on his lie and told him he wouldn’t have had any clue I wanted to finance with my job until I JUST told him and I JUST got the notification so he’s a liar! And plus, I thought he was with customers and couldn’t send me my paperwork?! But he didn’t get what he wanted because his boss said that he was fine with me having my own financing! To top it off, I live in Peoria and took a chance on this dealership in Tempe… never again! What a waste of gas and time! I understand dealers want to sell their product and get money for it but you don’t lie and cheat to get your way! So bottom line DO NOT go to this dealership to buy your car! And if you make the mistake of going do NOT work with Kyle! More

Need a better way of closing out a transaction. I came just for an oil change. When I came back for my vehicle I waited 30 minutes just to pay and pick up my car. My advisor was checking cars in in I came just for an oil change. When I came back for my vehicle I waited 30 minutes just to pay and pick up my car. My advisor was checking cars in in the service line and I couldn’t get the piece of paper to take to the rep inside. This isn’t the 1st time this has happened. I finally got another advisor to give me my paper .I took it inside to the very unfriendly rep that takes the payment. I told him I had a coupon and he very rudely asked if I sent it to my advisor And I said no because how did I know I was supposed to do that. We then wasted another 15 minutes of my trying to email him the coupon then he took it back to the advisor and just more waiting ensued .just a mess and it happens every time I come in.
