I usually have a fast and quality service at AutoNation, however this last visit was not the best. I was in for an oil change at 7am and told that it would take an hour and a half. I went outside to check o however this last visit was not the best. I was in for an oil change at 7am and told that it would take an hour and a half. I went outside to check out the new inventory. I came back in around 8am, sat and waited. I heard nothing at 0830, and figured they must really be busy. At 9:10 I walked up to the cashier and asked about my truck. She looked on the computer and told me it was done. She then went out into the service garage to get my paperwork. She returned within a few minutes and apologized for the wait. This was a free oil change offer that I received in an email. If this was sent to me to entice me to get further maintenance on my Tundra, they failed because when I got home I looked at my paperwork which showed that the truck was ready around 0830, as promised. I waited for around 3 hours and have not received the car service papers even after follow-up. Initially, they told me, it would cost ~$25, but got free service due to delay at their end. Bad experience purchasing a car. 1. When we arrived at the dealership we were told sorry the vehicle you are interested in just told. Nice tactic to get people in the door. But whil 1. Our sales rep was super young with no experience . He left in the middle of our appointment to go to his next one. 3. We were not told by the rep that onky 5k can be put against a card resulting us going back the next day to pay the remainder balance. 4. Tire pressure light came on during test drive. Rep told us he'll get it fixed. Coming to find out the next day that he never did. 5. Finance guy pushed too hard for an extended warranty and got mad at us for saying no, he went lower and lower in price for the warranty. What a joke. 6. Temporary tags expired. We had to reach out to the dealership and were told by the inexperienced rep that a new one will be emailed on the date the current one expires. Still no replacement. Talked to 3 different people at the dealership today and was told to either 1. Wait until the dmv sends the tag or 2. get a new one issued but that will take another 24 to 48 hours. It was a big mistake on our end to buy this car at the dealership. Too many warning signs. Not a good way to treat any customer. Plus we were told no military discount.!should have just More
