Poor communication and terrible service I brought my car in on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, for the Takata airbag recall. Intake was prompt and efficient and I was given a loaner. I wa I brought my car in on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, for the Takata airbag recall. Intake was prompt and efficient and I was given a loaner. I was also told that, aside from the recall, my car would receive a multi-point inspection and I qualified for a $500 MB credit if I had a certain amount of work done. I was told the work should take a few hours. Briefly, I was still waiting for my car on Friday. In anticipation that the car would be finished by Friday, and I was not going to be around on Friday to bring back the loaner, I gave the loaner key to a porter so he could drive my car to my house and pick up the loaner, when my car was done. Prem agreed that this courtesy made sense. I arrived home late Friday night to find that I did not have my car, and, of course, could no longer use the loaner since I had surrendered the key to the dealer. Nor was there any message from the dealer as to when I might expect my car to be returned. Not until Saturday, after I left a scathing message with service did I receive a text from Prem stating that my car would be returned later on Saturday. If a multipoint inspection was done, no one ever advised me of the results. More
