Great Sales Rep, but overall I felt let down. I'm by no means an expert at buying cars. I'm also not the type to haggle and be aggressive or confrontational. It's not in my nature. I trust in the kindness of my fellow human being and more or less assume I'm not going to be taken advantage of. Perhaps I am naive. Oh well. My sales rep, Ana, was awesome. She was super friendly, accessible, and helpful. If I were to recommend someone to Direct Auto Mall, I would refer them to Ana for sure. Beyond that, though, when it came down to the numbers and the help with the financing and such, I was a little let down. I would not say that I was taken advantage of, outright, but I also don't think there was an attempt to help me purchase a vehicle at a better deal than was advertised. Tons of fees, taxes, etc., and you end up paying a lot more than you wanted to. Yes, it's all there in the paperwork, but it wasn't addressed, which seems disingenuous. End of the day, the overall experience was okay, but I didn't feel like I was treated like family. Being in the service industry myself, that's how I operate, so it's noticeable. More
