I'm always very happy to bring my car into service at Bob Baker VW-Subaru. Norman Amabile and his team always treat me as a VIP customer. The work was done, the car was washed and when I came to pick up the car Thomas got me on my way. Thank You to Norman and all his team. The service advisor, PJ, was friendly & seemed to know what he was doing in that he had an idea of what might be causing the problem with my car. He told me it would take 45 min to 1 hour. I was 15 min early for my appointment. 4 hours later I finally couldn’t wait anymore, being out of my water with none available at the dealership—which is totally inhuman. In all that time, they had done nothing but find out the problem—& I have to go back, again, for them to fix it because they didn’t have the necessary sensor on hand. I suspect my car was not taken in on time & was waiting in line for a good chunk of my time there—the line to get in had been giant. PJ never checked in with me. And, after waiting 4 hours, they still hadn’t even washed my car, which PJ wanted me to wait for them to do. No! I asked for the car right away, being very hungry because I’m not going to eat at a restaurant during a pandemic. I was stuck at/around the dealership, & my time was not valued by anyone. I’m fact, I have never taken my car into Bob Baker, even for routine service checks, & gotten out of there in less than 3 hours. And I always have an appointment. I’m very unnerved. You seem to think people will be happy if you give them a smile & a free car wash, but I’m telling you that respecting my time counts for so much more with me. And when this lease is up, I’m done with you. More

I arrived for my 8:45 appointment at 8:35 am for a 90,000 mile service and recall replacement of the rear springs. Tanner said it would be ready by closing time at 4:30 pm. Tanner had the paperwork and I paid by credit card, then I waited outside for another 45 minutes.
