The vehicle was EXACTLY how Juan described it and even better in person. I would not hesitate to recommend ADO to friends and family. Be an informed consumer. I bought a car from these guys on Ebay, the car was represented in excellent condition. I left Negative feedback on Ebay stating the facts, which were I was very disappointed, I sent an email that got represented in excellent condition. The pictures they had on ebay clearly were photoshop'd to eliminate the huge Key gouge. They conned someone at Ebay's "Net Neutral" company into removing my negative feedback because as they said I should have went to Cleveland, OH to inspect the car first. My thinking is... that is the whole point of pics and descriptions on ebay not to mention feedback ratings. One assumes that when he is buying a car or anything for that matter on ebay, that he can know the pictures are accurate, the description is accurate and the feedback rating system is accurate. My opinion of Ebay tonight is forever changed as these guys now have a 100% feedback ranking again even after my negative feedback. It tells me to never again rely on a feedback ranking and certainly do not ever buy a car on Ebay again. Ill never ever make that mistake again no matter how good the deal seems. More
This is a positive experience with Autos Direct Online and I will tell you in honest how my experience was from start to finish. I had been looking for a Mercedes to import to Canada for quite a while w and I will tell you in honest how my experience was from start to finish. I had been looking for a Mercedes to import to Canada for quite a while when I found the right car listed on eBay with Autos Direct Online. As I am 1300 miles away from this dealer, I had to make sure that I will not be holding the end of the stick. It was my first time buying a car online unseen. As you can imagine that would be a scary thing to do. After talking to them a few times, asking questions about the vehicle, especially with regards to the requirements when exporting this Mercedes to Canada. Canada requires that Daytime Running Lights are turned on and that a printout from a Mercedes dealership that shows that this specific vehicle has no outstanding recalls. Juan promised me that that will not be a problem. He also stated that the vehicle is in excellent shape and exactly as described. Next I secured the vehicle by sending my deposit to them through Paypal. Then I started to do more research, looking for online comments about Autos Direct Online. I found positive ones as well as negative ones. Considering the volume they do I would be surprised if there would not be issues with some cars and some of their customers did not have nice things to say about them. However, I did also notice that they tried to deal with any issue that popped up and that is also important. I received all my papers from them and was to send over the money and the signed paperwork. Before I did this, I found a mechanic online, who has a shop not too far from them and paid him $50 to go over there and be my eyes. He looked at the car and told me it was “in great shape and I should go ahead, it is a great buy”. So I sent the money and the paperwork. It included several conditions: No Recall letter from MB system, DRL turned on and a second key to be provided at cost. I was assured all was received and I booked my flight. Now I had about 2 weeks to wait, which gave them time to get paperwork done and fulfill the conditions. Everything fell in place about 4 days prior to my pickup. Paperwork was sent to border crossing and I got copies. I wish some of the communications would have been better in the process as I had to do a lot of follow up and sometimes responses to questions were not forthcoming until . So I tossed and turned a few nights wondering if I lost my sanity buying a vehicle online unseen. I arrived Friday evening at 5:30 to pick up the vehicle and Juan picked me up at the Airport in my car. As we were driving away I noticed that message had come on telling us that the passenger SRS needed servicing. Now that is a message you don’t want to see if you need to get the vehicle through safety inspection in Canada. Juan said that he had never seen that message and I believed him as nobody had probably sat on that seat before since they got the vehicle. Back at the shop I received the title, which As there was nothing we could do that Friday night he said come back tomorrow morning at 9 am and we will deal with it. That night I thoroughly inspected all functions of the vehicle and found that everything was exactly as described online. I was very happy with the car. 9 am I was back and they send me to a garage they deal with to look at the issue with the Airbag. The diagnosis said it was the seat belt receptacle and the part would have to be ordered. Back at AutosDirect they sent me straight to Mercedes in North Olmsted and Mercedes fixed the issue under warranty so I would not have any costs after I got back to Canada. I arrived yesterday evening after 2000km (1300 mi). The ran perfectly and I am back home with the new car. So “thanks to Autos Direct Online”. It was a pleasure dealing with you and I will probably buy more cars from you. The price was right and the car was good and exactly as described. The issue that was found upon pick up was dealt with professionally and to my satisfaction. A last note: Please be aware about what kind of used car you are buying. Mine was 2008 Mercedes. If you are buying an older car with more miles there is a bigger chance that something may be wrong. I am sure they guys will check but they cannot find everything. Even if you buy locally and you get to see the car and test drive it, the seller will not guarantee that the engine won’t blow up a week later. The older a used car is the more risk for something to go wrong. Keep that in mind. If you want total peace of mind you will have to buy from a dealer who gives you some form of limited warranty and you will have to pay the higher price. More

I bought the car based on an ebay listing. They talked me into buying off of ebay (MISTAKE).. They has several weeks notice i was coming. I was tld the car was in excellent condition, except for a small 2" area of the rear headliner that was sagging. I flew in to get the car and the tail light had been broken, the salesman swore it was in the pictures listed, but I pulled the ad up and it was clearly not shown, so they said they would get me a new one. The car was not ready, they had the drivers seat torn apart when i got there because the seat adjustment switches would not work.. The memory worked, but not the switches.. Their was a large scratch on the drivers side rear door that was not photo'd, or disclosed.. someone had done a very poor job of trying to repair it.. The entire rear headliner was falling down.. Their guy had tried to put it up with gorilla glue. The repair looked terrible. I was supposed to leave for my 15 hour drive home at 1:00pm, the car was still not fixed at almost 5:00pm.. I was lucky that one of the memory positions would sort of work to get me home. They promised to send me a seat module and the tail light. I did get the tail light, but not he module.. Every time i call, i get the run around, and promises to get it to me.. After two months, i still have not received it. The car was for my wife, and there is no memory position that fits her comfortably. I would check online for them. There are a ton of stories like mine and worse. they are very shady, and i would NEVER recommend ANYONE buying from them. More

Initially I have a few items on the car that once I recevied it. The owner was kind enough to help rectify most of my concerns. I'm a repeat customer with these guys, and I can't speak highly enough about the experience. They are not pushy like most car dealerships, because they don't have to be! Their prices are incredible. I purchased a Lincoln LS from them in 2008 as a 2nd car. I purchased the Lincoln from them with roughly 80K miles, and drove it to roughly 108K miles. During that time, I did not have any problems outside of routine maintaince. I will admit that when I purchased it at such a low price, I was a bit weary... but it far exceeded my expectations. Yesterday, they accepted the same Lincoln that I purchased from them 2 years earlier as a trade-in towards a Sebring Convertable. They gave me a fair trade-in price, and another solid deal for the Sebring. The funny thing is that I was not even in the market for a new(er) car. Around Christmas I was checking out their website, saw the Sebring, and it was more or less an impluse buy. WIth prices like theirs, its hard to pass up some of their deals. Within the past year, I almost called them on a couple of their BMW's, they always seem to have BMW's at great prices. It is such a relief to meet a dealer who is not out to nickle and dime your pocket book. These guys remind you of the small town local mom & pops dealership, but with luxery vehicles. You guys have earned by business, and I will continue to be a repeat customer and send you referrals.
