I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience with Autos of Forney has been so frustrating and disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. I purchased my vehicle from them back in November of Autos of Forney has been so frustrating and disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. I purchased my vehicle from them back in November of 2023. When I bought my car from them, they promised several things that they never followed through on, and worse, they never put any of it in writing. One major issue: they promised me a key fob for my vehicle, since it only came with a transponder key (no remote controls). They told me the key fob would be covered by Zurich, the warranty company, and that I would have to wait over 30 days for the warranty to take effect before I can contact Zurich. I contacted Zurich, and they told me that they cannot issue a replacement key fob since I never had one to begin with. When I went back to Autos of Forney, they told me a 30-day window was necessary for them to replace the key fob themselves. Not only did they never contact me or remind me about the 30-day window they claimed was necessary, but they specifically told me to WAIT 30 days to contact the warranty company. So, which is it? Now I’m stuck manually locking and unlocking my car every day, with only one copy of the key. So now, I had to pay $150 for programming and cutting, plus $60 for the key, for something they promised would be covered by their “warranty”. They also said they would patch up a cigarette burn in the seat, but instead gave me cheap, ill-fitting seat covers that don’t even fit my car properly. They also promised fitted floor mats to cover the torn floor rug. They instead ordered cheap, generic mats from Amazon that didn’t fit. Every step of the way, they’ve made promises and then completely failed to deliver. When I brought up the issue of being overbilled for my warranty, they didn’t offer a refund, just told me I could get my warranty extended. But does that coverage include the key fob they promised? Of course not. Because that’s the kind of company they are. They talk a big game, but my experience has shown that they don’t honor their word, and they certainly don’t put their customers first. I feel utterly robbed, and I would never recommend Autos of Forney to anyone. More
