I price shopped quite a few Jeep dealerships before coming to Tomko Jeep so I knew what I was looking at for price. I emailed Tomko and received an email back, not an automated one, within a few hours coming to Tomko Jeep so I knew what I was looking at for price. I emailed Tomko and received an email back, not an automated one, within a few hours and it was late at night so I was very impressed. Mike was very thorough when I spoke with him over the phone and let me know what he had on his lot. I visited the dealership and was immediately greeted by another salesman who told me Mike was busy but I was welcome to grab some coffee in their cafe. Not even 5 minutes later Mike came over to greet me, as soon as I told him my name he quickly new who I was and grabbed the keys to a few vehicles. I was up-front with Mike and told him the price I was looking to pay. Mike not only was able to get me the price I wanted, he got me a vehicle with more options at that same price. he even allowed me to take the vehicle home (I only live a few blocks away) to show my wife the color since she could not come to the dealership with me. He offered me a great price on my trade in, and the very next day I went home with the vehicle. More
I had a bad experience at Ed Tomko over the weekend. We just leased a new Grand Cherokee for my wife a few weeks ago. Ed Tomko was over priced so I ended up leasing through Brunswick Auto Mart, who had th just leased a new Grand Cherokee for my wife a few weeks ago. Ed Tomko was over priced so I ended up leasing through Brunswick Auto Mart, who had the best pricing and hand delivered the car to our house. I went in to Ed Tomko a few days ago because I needed a Jeep dealer that was close by to put on the front license plate. When I went to Service, the rude gentleman (Dave Tomko) immediately asked me over and over who was my salesperson before helping me out. Once I told him I leased the car through Brunswick, he looked annoyed and told me to go there and have them put in on. He would not spend a few minutes helping me out. I was waiting for him to start laughing, thinking he was joking, but he was serious. Brunswick was an hour away and Ed Tomko was 10 minutes from my house. I thought all Jeep dealers fix/repair any type of Jeep product. But Dave Tomko made it clear they only service cars that are bought or leased through Ed Tomko. Putting on a front license plate would have taken just a few minutes. He was obviously trying to be very difficult and could care less that I was there, even though the place was completely dead. He was short, very rude and extremely unprofessional. Now I know why it was a weekend and the place looked like a ghost town. I will never go back to Ed Tomko nor recommend my family or friends from ever going there as well. More
I just bought a new 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 from Greg Tomko at the Tomko dealership. This was the best and easiest car buying experience I have had. Professional and courteous from my first contact, thr Tomko at the Tomko dealership. This was the best and easiest car buying experience I have had. Professional and courteous from my first contact, through the purchase, to delivery of the Challenger. Getting the best price without any games was totally refreshing. The entire process was smooth, with no suprises, and the car was delivered perfect, beautiful, and with a half tank of gas. It's great when you find a car dealership that really knows something about customer service and satisfaction. More
Our experience with this dealer was extremely disappointing. While we ended up eventually purchasing a new Chrysler vehicle, we stated several times during the transaction that we were not happy disappointing. While we ended up eventually purchasing a new Chrysler vehicle, we stated several times during the transaction that we were not happy with the service or the fact that the our salesperson quoted a price the dealership would not honor. We ended up giving this dealership a poor review on the survey sent to us from Chrysler, and then had to endure emails and phone calls from our salesperson that were harassing in nature. We are horrified by this unprofessional and unethical behavior. We would not recommend purchasing a car from this dealer. Our experience was far from enjoyable, and because of the behavior demonstrated by our salesperson, we now do not even feel confident in entrusting this dealership with servicing our new vehicle. Bought our 2001 PT Cruiser from there. There are still people out there that will talk to the man when a couple are looking for a car, but when Scott found out that the car was for my wife, he talked and people out there that will talk to the man when a couple are looking for a car, but when Scott found out that the car was for my wife, he talked and directed his questions to her, not me. That was definately a good thing. Every time I stopped in, he was happy to talk to me and answer any questions I had. We were so satisfied, that we took her parents in to see him when her mom wanted a PT Cruiser convertible. I'll probably need to get another car pretty soon and that's the first place I'm going to look. More
