Firstly, I only experienced the pre-owned portion of this establishment that was set up in a temporary location due to construction. I did deal directly with harout. After walking the vehicle I pointed o establishment that was set up in a temporary location due to construction. I did deal directly with harout. After walking the vehicle I pointed out the tires worn and there was a crack in the rear taillight and I showed comps for that area and the vehicle was easily $1500 above average. So after a test drive, i knew i wanted this particular vehicle due to clean carfax and to keep it short, i did a lot of research, and I definitely wanted this vehicle which is why I still made the deal. They made a fair point as to why they offered me 2k below what KBB stated as my trade in value. I assumed we'd find a happy medium at the negotiating table. I was flat out lied to on several accounts. He said after checking my credit, I may qualify for a lower rate, and we can discuss values from there. Never told me my credit score, and the interest rate was exactly what was advertised as a default 9.71% which is astronomical when the average for that area and my credit being 750 or higher, I should have qualified for a much better rate. So then another manager comes back with the paperwork (I apologize i don't remember his name) we went through the process backwards where he held on to the cost breakdown sheet while he had me sign everything else. Felt off to me, but I knew I wanted the vehicle and prepared for this and already refinanced with my local bank at 6.25% so I'm good with that. We get to the cost breakdown sheet finally, and I notice the cost of the vehicle i wanted was the same, never dropped when he stated it would due to the tail light at minimum and the fact they were close to 2k higher than other of the same vehicle in that area or near me. KBB also had them at 1.5k over average with the VIN#. Then I noticed they gave me 18k for my trade which also was 2k under the KBB but the argument of "it's a 2024, if someone comes in looking for that price range, a new one is only 3-4k more they would probably go with the new one" and that sort of made sense so I let that go. 1.8k for a 2 yr power train warranty, which is decent, but I was hounded to buy their own warranty for body damage which I adamantly had to repeat that I did not need or want. I did feel a little bullied and lied to I won't lie. But I drove home the vehicle I wanted so I didn't let it get to me I can just refinance asap. After weeks, I notice my traded vehicle still wasn't paid off and my auto pay date had come, but luckily I thought of this and canceled that autopay ability. Otherwise they would have paid off a vehicle that was now $500 less than it was at the agreement. Also thought that was shady tactics. I got my payoff latter from GM stating the account was paid off Feb. 7th and I traded in the vehicle jan. 17th. Which is a full 3 weeks and me contacting my sales rep repeatedly about it as to why they waited 3 weeks and me pestering them them it hit me that they were trying to get another 500 out of me. No other reason to wait 3 weeks. Now in week 5, my temp tags are expired and I finally get a phone call today that my new tags were mailed out today. I had to ask "but I've had my current tags on a large suv prior to the vehicle I traded in and was able to keep my tags not even 2 years ago I did this". I was told that my state requested they get a new tags or denied the re-use of my current tags. Either way, also should not have taken over 4 weeks. I received a voicemail yesterday Feb. 18th, from someone else asking to confirm from address so they can mail my new tags, after about 6 attempts across a day and a half I called for the person who left the voicemail before this different person called me today. So again, I had to ask "if I never spoke to the person about confirming my address why would you mail the tags?" I was told the correct address and said yes that IS the correct address but what's the point of confirming the address if you're just going to mail it before I confirm it? More
They really came through for me on my Chevy Silverado! I was worried about financing, but he helped me get approval without all the usual stress. My credit score is not perfect, but he made it work. The d I was worried about financing, but he helped me get approval without all the usual stress. My credit score is not perfect, but he made it work. The down payment was fair, and the truck was exactly as advertised. Drove off the same day feeling great about my deal! Definetly the best car buying experience I have had! 💨 More
