CONCLUSION: - Don’t repair here - 30 days for a bumper CONCLUSION: - Don’t repair here - 30 days for a bumper replace/repair, still not complete, added scratch on my bumper - Falsely told my repair was CONCLUSION: - Don’t repair here - 30 days for a bumper replace/repair, still not complete, added scratch on my bumper - Falsely told my repair was complete and to pick up my car 3 times - Added damage to my rear bumper (which has since been compensated) - NOT a BMW Certified Collision Repair center I took my car with the repair unfinished and added damage after I was told it was ready for the 3rd time after the car was with BMW of Bloomfield for 30 days. I submitted a claim for the added damage and they acknowledged the issues and sent me a check for the requested amount (a fair amount). There's a new General Manager, Anthony Cerillo that got assigned to turn the place around the same month my car went in for the repair. Hopefully customers will see improvement in service and quality. Their staff seemed to not check the quality of repairs before calling me in to pick up my car. First time, the car was dirty and poor quality repair work. Second time, the bumper was still misaligned, paint wasn't dry and condensation in the replaced light. Third time, condensation in the new replaced light and added damage to my rear bumper. - Bernard Brown was my service advisor. He was polite. - Tom Cueman was the evening service advisor who got involved when I got called in the first time. He was also polite, courteous and understanding. - Jim Crowe was the service manager that got involved when I got called in the second time and contacted BMW North America. I only corresponded by email with him, but he responded quick and succintly. - Craig Hacker was the service director that handed off the car the third time because Jim was at training. Seemed like a used car salesman, changing what he said multiple times and gave a dishonest, rude vibe. - Anthony Cerillo was the new General Manager I spoke with at the end. He seemed like he will legitimately try to turn around this dealership, whether it be by conditioning the current staff or replacing them. He was very courteous, respectful and understanding. Too bad the service director wasn't more like him. Details on repair issues below for those who are interested... 1st time I was called to pick my car up (20 days at shop): - Hood had a dent which may have been a paint issue - Car was dirty, so I told the service advisor to triple inspect the entire job before confirming it is good for me to pick it up again 2nd time I was called to pick my car up (21 days at shop): - New bumper was on crooked - New headlight had condensation inside - Fender had a new paint chip - All paint wasn’t dry causing a raised lip on the hood and speckles on the bumper 3rd time I was called to pick my car up (30 days at shop): - New headlight still had condensation inside - Added scratch on my rear bumper - Dirtied white leather interior on the driver side More
