Brandon my service writer was very good and polite. He greeted me after I checked in. He told me what my service consisted of. He let me know about how long it would take. When I purchased my car here, I was in and out in under 2hrs. It was a great experience. However, I arrived this past Monday for an “express service” oil change and just got my car back this morning (T 2hrs. It was a great experience. However, I arrived this past Monday for an “express service” oil change and just got my car back this morning (Thursday). Yep, took 3 FULL DAYS for a simple “express” oil change. They said it was because my “check engine” light was on and that “takes a few days to figure out”??? A few days? According to my BMW app, my car sat for almost 24hrs before it got on a lift and I was sent a video from the tech saying my tires and breaks were fine and they think the check engine light is on due to lack of fuel? That was Tuesday morning. Okay…then my car sat for another 24hrs until it was taken to a Chevron station and also the engine oil was changed on Weds afternoon (48hrs after drop off). I realized my car was done since my app had no notifications on it and said everything was great. Previously it had a “check engine” light on saying it needed oil asap. I texted the service rep and asked if I can get my vehicle and he responded with “the tech needs to test the car again.” Yet, the car then sat for a few hours and was moved, briefly (30mins), and then sat back on lot at 4pm on weds. I wasn’t told I could pick up my vehicle until Thursday morning (3 days after drop off) I just don’t understand how a simple “express service” oil change took 3 FULL DAYS? My first oil change with them took 4 hours, which I thought was extreme. If you’re short staffed then don’t allow for so many appointments? Also, with technology now, we know where our vehicle is and when our vehicle is moved/hood and doors opened. It’s very hard to justify holding my car for 3 days knowing it was actually worked on for about 45-55mins in total. Not cool! Wouldn’t recommend them for service at all. More
