Had an appointment first thing in the morning. I was assigned to employee Omar who was unprofessional. I was told to wait in the lobby area. After 15 minutes he addressed me regarding my vehicle i I was assigned to employee Omar who was unprofessional. I was told to wait in the lobby area. After 15 minutes he addressed me regarding my vehicle in front of customer seating in the lobby, not on his desk where everyone else was asked to go. Omar mentioned they are all backed up with work and my vehicle will be completed in couple hours around 11 or 11:30am, and got a lift home. After five hours of waiting, I decided to call to find out what’s the progress. Finally I got a hold of Omar and he said “ we are wrapping it up, it will be done in an hour” ended taking my vehicle at 4pm. Total of 7 hours for scheduled oil change. Omar failed to be honest to mention the status of my service. Kept me waiting and wasted my day for his negligence and lack of customer service. Omar did not gave me a copy of my receipt for the service, not an apology for taking that long for an oil change, I got nothing. This is the service that BMW offers. Unacceptable and you all should be embarrassed. More
I have never been disappointed by the excellent care I've received at both BMW Encinitas and now BMW Carlsbad. I am always kept informed by both Keith Sherman and Miguel Ramirez. My X5 was in service an extra day and a half because the service technician broke a part they were replacing. After I picked up and drove the car away one of the lights was still on. I called immediately and found out they failed to complete the service and another part needed to be replaced. I asked they call back with price and time it would take to replace the item. I never received a call back from the the associate who had helped me originally, nor the service manage who I had also left a message for. I will go somewhere else. It should have been completed and addressed the first time I was there. Terrible customer service. More

The value service seems to be a great value. I had my spark plugs replaces and now rear brakes, and oil changes. I wish other repairs would be assessed a bit more accurately and more fairly that I had my spark plugs replaces and now rear brakes, and oil changes. The replacement cost quote was only provided verbally and upon more shopping was almost double of what it should cost. So now looking for a qualified mechanic to perform the service. I would rather do all my maintenance here, if there was a bit more transparency on how replacement quotes are put together. Otherwise overall I had a good experience and plan to come back for those value services from BMW. More
With the closing of the Vista and Encinitas service centers, all service has been diverted to the Carlsbad location. This puts a tremendous amount of stress on one location. You can imagine how busy th centers, all service has been diverted to the Carlsbad location. This puts a tremendous amount of stress on one location. You can imagine how busy this place gets. Ramon was the service agent that assisted me and he was awesome. All the parts that were needed for my car were in stock, so I didnt have to wait for parts. The work was completed quickly. I would return to this location for service, but just know that it will be crazy busy. More
