BMW Encinitas - Service Center

Well you asked (three times! ) so here it is... I've been coming to this dealer and service center in Encinitas for 15+ years. It is typically very good but it is clearly trendin ) so here it is... I've been coming to this dealer and service center in Encinitas for 15+ years. It is typically very good but it is clearly trending downwards lately. Brought it in a couple weeks ago for STANDARD maintenance (oil change?) and it took over a week and a half. Now Keith furnished me with a loaner which is fine, but why is it taking that long to begin with? Then, when my service advisor called and told me it was ready, I told him I'd be there RIGHT at 11:30am and to please have my car ready. He said okay. I get there RIGHT at 11:30, and THEN they "start the process" of finalizing the paperwork and getting my car out of the thousand-deep parking lot. Translation? 22 minutes later, my car finally comes out. Wow. What more can I do as a customer?? Finally, when I did get the car back, I immediately notice that several things inside the car had been moved, adjusted, displaced, etc. Not cool. In addition, the car was NOT cleaned (or at least not that day), and all of my radio pre-set stations (30+?) were gone! This latest visit adversely impacts my overall opinion of not only the car but BMW as a whole. Hope you get this fixed asap. My lease is up soon and I may look elsewhere. HTH More

My service writer, Omar, has really gone above and beyond to take care and address all of my concerns and needs regarding cost and qua car serviced. I used to love this dealer. But last two times I brought my M5 they scraped my front lip and this last time it's completely crushed. It's the people that are handling my car I'm worried about. More
