BUYER BEWARE..STAY AWAY!! Spent $38k on a 2016 BMW X5 with 29k miles. Sales person told us “we were paying way less than we should be for the car” which we thought was extremely unprofessional. He also said over the phone “I don’t care what you pay for this car.” We were told by three people at the dealership that the car came with a one year Sirius subscription and the ad on their website for the car said so too...not true it's only three months. Radio button was missing and we asked them to replace it. They pulled one off another car and sent it to us (after many unreturned phone calls and emails.) We had it looked at by our mechanic and it’s missing a rubber seal/ring (t’s loose and doesn’t fit right with the piece they did send.) We had to put in more phone calls for that part and the answer we got was “you didn’t get that?” (Ah, nope because you didn’t send it!) Also car was not cleaned or detailed when we got there and they knew we were coming (from three hours away). Salt stains on the rug. Cup holders and door pockets were dusty and dirty. Hood had buff marks where they tried to clean it up but did a poor job. Salesperson said “there’s a communication gap with the shop out back”. We thought purchasing this car from a BMW dealership would have avoided these problems. However we probably would have gotten better treatment at Joe Shmoe’s side-of-the-road car sales lot! We’ve put in several phone calls to the salesperson, sales manager and general manager along with emails they just DON’T respond. Six weeks has gone by and they have not contacted us. They take your money and you get the tail light guarantee. After reading other reviews I see we are not alone. We too, will be contacting BMW corporate. This is our seventh BMW purchase and it has by far been the worst experience yet. UPDATE: Within 24 hours of writing the above review, the general manager contacted me and my wife to apologize for our negative buying experience and began to work through a resolution. While we certainly appreciated the prompt reply, we honestly believed it was only prompted by our negative review, since prior to our review, phonecalls and emails were not responded to in a timely manner, if at all. In fairness however, the general manager was apologetic and did proceed to go over our issues one by one in an earnest effort to make things right. He committed to take the steps necessary and followed through to completion. In the end, we were very disappointed as this was not the buying experience we have come to know from BMW. Seamless experience thanks to Jeff and the Team I purchased my car from out of RI and Jeff and team had everything ready the day I arrived to close the deal, including swapping the summer tires with I purchased my car from out of RI and Jeff and team had everything ready the day I arrived to close the deal, including swapping the summer tires with winter's as per a very down-to-the-wire request I made (John helped shipping the summer tires to my location). Signing the paperwork was a breeze with Dimitriy who was very thorough and took his time to explain all documentation that was signed. Then Nicholas made sure we got acquainted with all the technical aspects of the car, going through the functionality without any rush (truly needed on what is basically a plane cockpit these days). During the whole process Jeff always providing great customer service (plus he was able to get me a great deal), so will definitely work again with these guys in the future. More

Dealership working with the collision department I have had mixed customer service from Metro/Grieco dealerships for the last 15 years. A couple very bad and a few satisfactory experiences. I was in the market for another new vehicle the end of last year and received excellent customer service from BMW of Newport. Well last month I was involved in an accident and needed to have my ultimate driving machine repaired. Because of the excellent service at the Newport dealership, I decided to have the repairs done at Grieco Collision in Johnston. They handled getting the vehicle to their site, getting the insurance adjuster out, finding me a loaner vehicle, explaining the required repairs to be done, repairing the vehicle along with getting all the electronics functioning properly and delivering the vehicle completed with no hassles. I picked up my ultimate driving machine for the second time in brand new condition. T H A N K Y O U ! Bill More
