I have several other BMW dealers who are MUCH closer in proximity. However, a friend recommended South Shore BMW and boy, the amazing respect, professionalism, and fairness can not be surpassed. As a woman in medicine with little time to spare, I was treated with dignity not like an idiot. The order for my 2015 X6 was handled so smoothly it was like a dream. Many thanks to the entire team from the GM, sales advisor, Gregory Dolabany, (he actually seems to ENJOY delivering the car after the sale is done), and Lisa Miles, (the business manager), who did not try to sell me every aftermarket do-dad. I will continue to drive the extra distance to do business with a car dealership that really does make the experience a joy instead of a nightmare. Sorry every other Boston dealer, I really must commend South Shore, (who are now a bit closer to the highway exit), and worth the trip. More
Awful Sales Manager- Fred Shaw I just purchased a new BMW here and the sales staff was great to work with when purchasing my new vehicle. However, their sales manager, Fred Shaw, w I just purchased a new BMW here and the sales staff was great to work with when purchasing my new vehicle. However, their sales manager, Fred Shaw, was unbelievably rude, distrusting, and condescending. So much so, that I almost switched dealerships just because of him. If you do go here, be sure to avoid Fred Shaw. He was a very sour experience in what otherwise would have been a pleasant car buying process. More
I drove 225 miles to go to this dealer, because they had the vehicle I wanted. I was happy with the sales crew, happy with the pre-owned manager, the problems came when trying to register the car. Because o the vehicle I wanted. I was happy with the sales crew, happy with the pre-owned manager, the problems came when trying to register the car. Because of the way the Massachusetts DMV works, we had major problems. The MA DMV doesn't do temporary plates, and I needed to drive my trade in up to the dealer from NYC. So unless I got new plates, I'd be driving one of them with no registration. Problem was, nobody told me that. I drove up to the dealer to pickup my new truck, and the registration wasn't done for it. So I ended up driving my new vehicle 225 miles with no registration. Couldn't park it on the street without registration and inspection, so I had to rent a garage for it. Was hoping to have the registration the next day. Didn't happen. Day after, still nothing. Was promised it the next day, so I waited. It finally came, 5 days after I picked up the car. I "owned" a car for 5 days with no registration. Thats inexcusable. Completely illegal. Even worse, the car I bought was supposed to be Certified Pre-Owned, with however many checks on it. But on the trip home, she gave me malfunction warnings for the Tire Pressure Monitor system, had shuddering brakes, hinting at warped rotors, and finally the keyfob couldn't be recognized by the car. Why were these issues not found during certification? I want to recommend this dealer, I really do, so I'd recommend them to MA residents. For people who live in other states, I'd recommend staying away like the plague. In fact, I'd recommend staying away from ALL Massachusetts dealers until the state wakes up and starts offering temporary plates and registrations like the other 49. More

I stopped by the BMW one day in anticipation of needing a new car and was fortunate to be met by Bob Carpenter who, from the moment I met him, treated me with respect and responsiveness. I knew that when it new car and was fortunate to be met by Bob Carpenter who, from the moment I met him, treated me with respect and responsiveness. I knew that when it was time to get a car, I wanted to buy from Bob. He worked closely with me to determine the right car for me -and he was wonderful with my husband, who can be a tough customer. He helped me make the right trade-offs to stay within the desired price range and was extremely patient through the process. I look forward to a long term relationship with Bob and BMW Gallery in Norwell. Thank you for a wonderful experience. More

He created an atmosphere of amazing excitement during the whole process of purchasing the car. Tom made me feel like a VIP even though the car was one of dealership's least expensive. The dealership and the Team were very accomadating in all my requests. More
They sold me a 2000 M5 with a car fax that indicated everything was OK. I returned one week later for clutch repair. I smelled a terrible odor coming form the motor compartment the sales person said it everything was OK. I returned one week later for clutch repair. I smelled a terrible odor coming form the motor compartment the sales person said it was the material they used to clean the engine. No!, it was burnt clutch. How is that possible if they inspected the car before selling it to me. Service engine soon! blared from the dash board, the first day out of BMW Gallery NORWELL show room. They promised to repair the problem... reset the code and sent me on my way. minutes from the dealership light on again, i returned, clear code and repeat cycle. I had the car check by another reputable facility. the code revealed and confirmed my complaints cost to repair $8,000.00 it is also the cause of the 1 quart of oil / the car was consuming at $9.00/quart X 12 month, they wanted me to believe that was normal because it was BMW M5... lies, lies, lies. What I am left with after 12 months of complaints and trying to be understanding, is finding the money to repair the car and retain a lawyer BMW Gallery Norwell is a disgrace to the BMW Gallery franchise and should be shut down or all the managers fired for misleading their customers. I also purchased an extended warranty costing several hundred dollars by the used car sales manager that was totally useless BMW North America and Mass Attorney general also assisted in resolving the problem. the potential solution - they will repair the car and reduce the cost 20% -BMW North America customer representative relayed this information to me. 1/25/12 - 9:00PM More
Writing following my first service visit since purchasing my used 2008 128i(used from another dealer). From my entrance to the property to my exit my experience was exceptional. My experience with the BM my used 2008 128i(used from another dealer). From my entrance to the property to my exit my experience was exceptional. My experience with the BMW gallery of Norwell was so far above average because of courtesy and professionalism of the staff from the valet to the service advisor, Tom. My service visit was all warranty related and each item was addressed. I was provided details as to what was found and what was done to correct each issue. In addition to the service activity a courtesy inspection indicating that the tires are approaching replacement was completed. Nice to know where I stand with budgeting for replacements. In summary the professionalism of Thomas Toppan ( Service Consultant) and B. Zagaski (Service Technician) are the reason I am writing this review. Thomas kept me informaed as to progress and timeline. Mr. Zagaski for complete documentation for each issue found and action taken to correct I would recommend this dealers' service department to anyone. A "ten" out of "ten" in my experience! More
