This is a known issue with the shifter not showing it is in park. GM knows about this issue with the encore Gx vehicles. There is no warranty. As the customer I need to pay to repair an issue that is not normal wear and tear but a faulty part. This is absolutely ridiculous. The car has less than 50k miles. Very frustrating. More
The staff was amazing and kept me informed throughout the evolution. They were helpful every step of the way. GM failed on the 90 day process though. They couldn’t get multiple tools to the dealership to per evolution. They were helpful every step of the way. GM failed on the 90 day process though. They couldn’t get multiple tools to the dealership to perform the required maintenance and during the 13 weeks that my vehicle was in the maintenance department they only sent a Field Service Engineer to evaluate the problem (3) times. The issue could have been solved much sooner had GM had the FSE spend more time investigating the problem. Their failures cost not only me, but also the dealership precious time and money. The vehicle ended up spending more time investigating maintenance than in my possession before it was completed. The dealership did great, but GM dropped th ball. More
