I find their service integrity is excellent. If I have a 10:00 appointment, they honor it and service my vehicle at that time. (I haven’t found any other gm service department that has anywhere! Emily is the reason I will return to this location as she treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. She changed my opinion on how I felt prior to my oil change. I was actually supposed to have my oil treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. She changed my opinion on how I felt prior to my oil change. I was actually supposed to have my oil change on 5/23 and drove all the way from my house in Grand Rapids, 49504. But when I got there one of the two women I encountered, this 1st woman was the one who “greeted” me in the garage. She didn’t say hello. She started off by saying that they tried to contact me “numerous” times due to them apparently being triple booked on this day, 5/23. I’m not sure what her definition of numerous means but they only called me on 5/22 and did not leave a voicemail and I received no texts or emails. I was then brought to the 2nd women inside the building whose desk faces the waiting area. My experience with her was not that bad and did not come off as rude as the first woman. I was then told that they could not do my oil change and that I needed to reschedule. I didn’t say much bc obviously there wasn’t anything I could do about it. I did tell the 2nd woman behind the desk to tell her co worker that I was only called once (the day prior). I’m not sure who is the one who makes phone calls but regardless, it sucked and a waste of gas. I could have gone to a location closer to me but decided I would try and be a “loyal” customer as I bought my car at this location. I work in customer service as well and I guess my expectations on how you treat your customers is different than how I was treated. I do cringe at the saying that the customer is always right but at the end of the day, I’m the one who was “blamed” (not sure if that is the right word but it’s how I felt) for this triple booked situation. Personally I dont just call my customers and not leave a voicemail, or not shoot a text or email. My appt was later in the afternoon I think around 3pm l, and so there was ample amount of time/opportunity to call me that day to tell me to not come in and to reschedule my appt. Regardless, I decided to reschedule. So when I came back on 5/26, I was greeted by Emily who is phenomenal at her job and probably deserves way more credit than what she receives. She’s good at what she does and she is the only reason I will be coming back to this location. So at the end of the day, my oil change was a great experience and I owe it all to Emily. Ya’ll better treat her right, she’s a good person and is amazing at her job. Emily - thank you for being you and thank you for providing me with a a great experience. You have a tremendously hard job with having to be responsible for other employees and dealing with unhappy customers. I just hope you know that I think highly of you, not that my opinion matters, but I just really appreciate you and applaud you for what you do day in and day out. 5 stars to my girl Emily. More
