The service department was very helpful. I was actually amazed that they did a safety inspection when I brought my vehicle in. Communication was poor. After approving the part order, I had to call to get an update after 2 weeks of no contact, only to find out the part on order was discontinued. Then After approving the part order, I had to call to get an update after 2 weeks of no contact, only to find out the part on order was discontinued. Then after approving the purchase of a used part, I waited 2 more weeks with no contact. When i called again, I found out the part was in. Bright spot was the service contact was pleasant to work with. One key to customer service is communication-when the customer doesn’t know what is happening after 2 weeks (twice), the customer gets frustrated. Also, there were several items discovered to be wrong with my car and had to pay for 4 separate 1 hour diagnostic fees, with no offer to reduce the cost for my trouble. More

I have been very pleased with your service center and their honesty. I had a bad experience at a Holland dealer and luckily I spoke to your people and the issue that I had at the time was a warranty cov their honesty. Sales was great, service did more harm than good. Got my car back making all sorts of clunks and noise that weren't there when I dropped it off, and then was told that's normal. They also fried my onstar by allowing the truck to stall with a dead battery, my battery was 1 year old and never died before, but somehow they killed it, they did have my car for an entire month when that happened, there are gm tsb's and many posts about power being removed while the key is on damaging that module. Grandville admitted fault on the paperwork but Adam at hudsonville service, the manager of both locations, basically told me to xxxx off. Not the way to run a business and not the way to handle your customers. Will be pursuing legal action, and will not allow or recommend a betten baker location for any reason in the future. Sorry for the rant, but brought my car back 8-10 times for the noises and again grandville said that's not right, but Adam said nope there's nothing wrong we aren't gonna fix it.
