I took them two months to fix the car. After the car was returned to me, the car wasn't completely fixed. The steering wheel has a wobble that it did not have before. They installed the wrong headlights and blamed it on Tesla for sending them the wrongs ones. If you already knew they were the wrong headlights, then why did you install it? The hood and the new front fender are scratched as if someone used the wrong cloth to clean it off. You can tell because the old fender does not have the same scratches. I was given zero communication as to when it would be done or any changes to the estimate. I had to call and nag them. I should not have to do that. I told I could pick it up then showed at that time and then told it's not ready. I was told I'd get $250 off my deductible for my trouble, but then they gave me the wrong bill and took $240 off someone else's large deductible and made me pay full price. That is such a slimy move. Then Harvey told me they'd cut me a check for the mistake, but I have not seen it yet. Horrible service. More

I brought my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali in for a recall transmission soft wear update and when I picked it up they broke the news to me that the battery was tested and it’s BAD . They attempted to sell me transmission soft wear update and when I picked it up they broke the news to me that the battery was tested and it’s BAD . They attempted to sell me a new one for $380.00. I said I don’t think so ! It was fine when I came in here and it sits in a heated pole barn at home!!! I know a little bit about cars… so , I drove immediately to my go to battery and electric service garage that’s been in business for over 55 years and had it tested. Like I expected! Battery is fine ! Also he put a 10 second load on it and it still had a great charge!! Come to find out that for this software update the battery has to be on a charger the whole time of the update or the battery will die and loose all the information in these new vehicles!!!! I called Benton Baker Hudsonville service department and told them what I discovered. They said that they had a trickle charger on it. What a JOKE! The service manager called me back as a follow up and I explained all this to him. He said he would review this with the tech and get back with me. Well, this is day 6 and no follow up phone call. This service department is definitely not my go to department. I only go there for warranty work and recalls. I have had way too many problems with this vehicle @ $70 K purchase price. so I have been there way too much!! To much to type !!!! Like I told them at Benton Baker…if I was a 69 year old women trusting the dealership service department ….. she would have said go ahead and replace it. I am a 69 year old man that has been around cars and trucks my whole life. They could not pull off selling me a battery. Note!!! Always get a dealership diagnosis… Checked somewhere for a 2nd opinion. Can’t trust them.. always trying to up sell ! More
