We deeply regret any inconvenience and frustration you and your wife have faced since purchasing your vehicle. We want to extend our sincere apologies for the delays in obtaining the liftgate part and the oversight in the glove box. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide, and we understand your disappointment. In regards to the fees and the optional Gap fee, we understand the importance of clarity in all aspects of your purchase. Cody, our sales manager, will review the details with you and address any concerns or confusion you may have. Your feedback is invaluable, and we take it seriously. My response, sent December 28, 2023: Cody: I am writing in regards to the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder (VIN #5N1DR2MN5HC628649) that we purchased from Baldwin Subaru on December 4, 2023. I have some concerns in regards to monies paid, as well as about the vehicle itself. I will list them here: 155 Point Checklist - Please supply us with a list of the 155 points that are inspected; GAP - After reviewing and considering GAP coverage, we want to cancel this coverage. Per the instructions on the attached documentation, this request is being sent directly to Baldwin Motors; LICENSE - Please provide clarification of what LICENSE entails. The license fee paid by the previous owner on 3/3/2017 was $66.00. Our ljcense fee was $451.00. VEHICLE ISSUES: Front and rear brakes and rotors were in need of complete replacement, at a cost of $324.98; Vehicle was shaking and pulling hard to the right, requiring an alignment and 4-wheel rotate/balance at a cost of $197.38; Battery terminal was completely corroded and battery and terminal had to be replaced at a cost of $219.06. Documentation of all monies paid can be provided upon request. In regards to finding a resolution, we wish to have the cost of repairs ($741.42) refunded to us, and an explanation/correction of the license fee. UPDATE: We spoke with Lindsey at Baldwin Motors,named they offer to reimburse us for expenses that we incurred to make our vehicle safe. They also were very apologetic about our experience, and ensured us that this was not the way that they transact business. We believe that this was, perhaps, an isolated incident, and believe that they will be diligent in their efforts to improve customer service.
