We do appreciate the feedback about the concerns brought up by Firestone and the ASE technician that inspected the car for you, and would like the opportunity to assist you with those concerns. The Peak Vehicle Service Contract that you elected to purchase with the vehicle is an excellent warranty with a very high level of coverage. With the mileage on the vehicle at the time of purchase, this warranty is the best protection plan we have available, although it is somewhat limited in the items it does and does not cover. We would be happy to provide you with the plan coverage if you do not have a copy with your paperwork. The most difficult assessment of the concerns brought up by Firestone is the 13,000 plus miles driven in the six months from the point of purchase. These issues were certainly not “caused by the driver”, however, the wear could have easily taken place with the miles put on the car in that time frame. We worked with the warranty claims adjustor in every aspect in an attempt to get them to make an exception and get the items covered. Although we were unsuccessful in doing so, we did provide courtesy transportation, an oil change, as well as replacing a faulty tire pressure sensor, with all parts and labor provided at a significantly discounted rate. We would like to provide the same service you experienced with our sales department, and I’d like the opportunity to speak with you personally in an attempt to do so.
