My entire experience from Jesse opening the door with a funny greeting to Kerry making the financial piece stress free was pleasant. Jesse was kind, knowledgable and non threatening. He did little things that made my life easier. He cancelled my old plates an helped me order my subaru badges. He helped me to understand the new technology including synching my IPhone. He even called me the same night to see if I had any more questions. I will continue to be a loyal Steve Lewis customer! More
I had a great experience at Steve Lewis. Our sales person was Peter Lustenberger. I gave the rating I gave because from the moment we arrived at the dealership we were treated as "special". David was incredibly knowledgeable and completely non-"pushy". He listened to what we wanted, and found it for us. The car we ended up wanting was not on his lot, but he secured it from another dea non-"pushy". He listened to what we wanted, and found it for us. The car we ended up wanting was not on his lot, but he secured it from another dealer in a matter of minutes.I have never been more comfortable buying a new car - and I've had several good experiences buying Subarus from other dealers - this was the best. Dave's lack of pushiness is even more notable in that we were in a desperate position - our 2009 Subaru had been totalled 5 days earlier - we wanted a 5-speed, 5-door Impreza, and there are very few anywhere in the New England area. We were up front about this, so it would have been easy for him to really pressure us, as we *had* to get a car, and were not playing games about what we wanted. I know this isn't what you're "supposed" to do with a car dealer, but I'm not a wheeler-dealer - Dave's lack of high pressure, knowing all this, is even more impressive. I hope this encourages anyone else who is not a haggler-type! More

I could sight many platitudes about Peter such as bright, friendly, respectful, knowlegeable, listening skills, honest and a great passion to make the deal work for both of us. However, it was a situation a week after I bought the car that is the the reason for this note. I made a very poor parking decision pulling into a local coffee shop and really twisted the front wheels. I could not get the key and steering wheel to engage and went into a mild panic. I called the dealership and spoke to Peter and he said don't worry he would be right over. He was there in a flash and corrected the situation instantly (key and wheel at same time, presto it was fixed). I was able to make a scheduled appointment and my original take on Peter was affirmed. I have found in the past that mostl dealers are your buddies until you drive off the lot. This was truly customer loyalty and it made a great impression on me. Met with Jesse and went thru the sales procedure thru a purchsse of a Subaru Outback. There were a couple of glicthces but probaby my fault as my hearing is not that good and I may have missed some points purchsse of a Subaru Outback.
