The experience was made even better when they informed me that not only could they finance me for the pre-owned car, but that they could also give me a decent trade-in value for my old vehicle, which I didn't think was even possible. Not only that, but they were able to use the value of my old vehicle in lieu of a costly down payment and got me a very reasonable monthly premium for the pre-owned vehicle. This allowed me to drive home the pre-owned vehicle that day, at a time when I needed a reliable ride and was in financial hardship. They also worked with several banks and were able to get me a loan within an hour. In their negotiation with the bank that approved my loan, they reduced their vehicle price, thereby saving me a significant amount of money in the process. Through the entire process, which took less than two hours total by the way, everyone was very courteous, personable, professional, and thorough in making my purchase the best experience possible on a day when I was unsure about the future of my personal transportation. I would reccomend them to anyone, whether they are on a budget like myself or are looking to purchase an extra family or luxury vehicle. I will surely be coming back to Steve Lewis Subaru for my future transportation needs. More

I was very impressed with the level of service. I had talked with Todd Gerry about the new Forrester before they were introduced to dealership. It was Todds day off, another salesman, Peter, was very helpful in providing information and taking me on a test drive despite knowing I was going to buy from Todd. I was impressed with that level of team work. It was Todd who sold me my new Subaru. The price was very competitive and I received my new car exactly when expected. When picking up the car, Todd was very thorough in explaining its new features and extremely patient in answering my questions as well as providing demostrations of the applications offered in my specific vehicle. I didn't plan on buying a car when I stopped at Steve Lewis Subaru, but Pete hooked me up with an awesome vehicle that I am really enjoying. I was very pleased with my experience working with Todd Gerry as my main contact at the dealership. He showed me a variety of models that would fit my price range and then worked with his supervisor (Myron Gerry as my main contact at the dealership. He showed me a variety of models that would fit my price range and then worked with his supervisor (Myron Callender) to get a reasonable trade-in for my Volvo. While one can always hope for more, they did match the Kelly Blue Book price for a trade-in. I had also visited three other dealers of different car brands. None of the other dealerships were as friendly or helpful. Todd went out of his way not to pressure me - there were no threats that the car might be gone or that the price would change. When I noticed that not all of the DVDs for the navigation were in the car when I picked it up, he made an effort to contact the previous owner and was able to get the other DVDs for me. As a part of my negotiations, I had asked for a different mirror (one with the Homelink option). They ordered the part and I had it installed within a week after picking it up. The actual installation of the new mirror took just a half hour. I do wish that they would simply take a personal check for the purchase of a car - when I bought my Volvo up in Deerfield, there was no issue with simply writing a personal check for the funds. Since the dealership still holds the title until the funds are transfered, I think they should be able to accommodate this (plus, they can always call the bank and inquire about sufficient funds). My wife and I met Gus Erskine about 6 months ago. We were walking the bike path that runs behind the dealership and decided to look at the new cars. Gus was showing cars to a couple and we just listened for a few minutes. Gus was professional and to the point with the other couple. We could tell that he understood the vehicles and understood what the couple wanted. We liked the way he presented himself and decided to ask for Gus when it was time for us to find a new car. We found that Gus was just what we expected based on the way he treated the other couple and were extremely happy with the overall experience. Gus did not attempt to upsell us and when we told him that we were set on buying an Impreza he explained the entire product line and let us make our decision. Overall the facility in Hadley is immaculate and we plan on bringing our new Impreza back there for service. Over the years I have purchased an number of vehicles and have been know to walk out on a sales rep that I felt was being heavy handed. This was one of the top two experiences that I have had purchasing an automobile. More
