WE stopped in to look at the new 2014 Forester, particularly colors that we hadn't seen at the nearby dealer in Pittsfield. Kim Nall was very knowledgeable about the new model and very welcoming. We ended up taking a test drive and meeting with Kerry and getting a very competitive price within a very short time. Their approach was very low key and both were very sensitive to our preferences and circumstances. Their offers for service accommodations to help overcome the fact that we live an hour and a quarter away were very generous. Had the Pittsfield dealer been less competitive in pricing we definitely would have bought from Kerry and Kim. I was most impressed with Kerry and Kim's casual, supportive, informative, non-competitive approach. More

Thursday morning our 13 year old car was a thing of the past and we needed a replacement The people at Steve Lewis Subaru were virtual life savers. Thursday morning our 13 year old car was a thing of the past and we needed a replacement immediately, if not sooner. We had contacted Holly the week before and she had quoted us a price on a 2012 base car Impreza which suited our budget. Thursday afternoon we called the dealer, explained our situation and asked if the car was still available. They checked their computer inventory, found our price quote but told us the car had been sold. When my wife explained our financial situation we were informed they would be able help in that matter and took our loan info over the phone. Two hours later, we received a call that we had received a loan at a reasonable rate and no money down. The model car we desired was being transferred to the dealer and would be available for pickup on the next Monday. Friday morning, we met with Todd Garry, who gathered all the info he needed to contact our insurance agent, the registry, and the tax collector. Myron had us check all the info he had gathered and guided us through all the paper work. WE also purchased a money saving maintenance plan which included free tire replacement. Monday, Eric picked me up in the shuttle van to drive me to the dealer where I again met with Todd. The car was ready with new plates, Eric took it to be inspected, and to my surprise we had been updated to a 2013 in the exact same model and colors at the same price previously quoted. Todd gave me a thorough tour of the car inside and out showing me all of the features. All that remained for me to do was to drive it home. My wife and I can never tell you how helpful the staff was in our hour of need, taking us by the hand and carrying the full burden of getting us through this disaster unharmed We can only give the highest recommendation for the staff at Steve Lewis. Jessee Bilodeau was superbly proffessional, polite and technicaly exceeded the most demanding General Managers expectations (and ours!). A complete overview of the dealership history and infrastructure to include maintenance and shop spaces. His broad knowledge of the Outback hi-tech system provided the basics a new car owner needs and can absorb . Myron Callender, the finance manager also exceed our expectations. He proffesionaly advised us of extended warranty programs and paint and interior treatments, but, did not overly pressure us with a hard sell pitch. The dealership showroom, parts department , grounds , maintenance bays and bathroom were fresh, modern and clean. The waiting room was complete with KRUAG free coffee , condiments, magazines and a water cooler. Our car buying experience was a positive one. The price negotiation was not grueling and we feel we received a wonderful deal on a quality automobile. We choose the Outback over five other competitors models . There was an obvious feel of riding in a technicaly advanced automobile with quality workmanship , superior handling and power than the other nameplates. More

We hadn't planned on purchasing a vehicle when we stopped in at the dealers on Saturday. I'm an Audi driver and spotted the Q5 and decided to see what the cost was on it. The Audi had only been there a couple of days, but Peter went out of his way to answer all our questions. We took it for a cruise and were very impressed. By the end of the visit we had all the information we needed to make our decision. Our car was going in as a trade so we returned the next day with it and worked out the deal. An hour or so later the deal was finalized and an arranged was made for the pick up date. We tend to keep our vehicles a long time so we don't purchase often. Working with Peter was great. He easy to talk with and goes out of his way to meet any and all requirements you might have. When you're purchasing a rather large ticket item, the price isn't the only thing that's important to me. I need to feel comfortable and confident with the business (and individual(s) I'm doing business with. Peter met all our needs and left us feeling assured with our decision. Pete is with out a doubt the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. So much so that we have bought two cars from him in less then a month! He truly listens to your needs when it comes to your desires and expectations in a vehicle. Unlike many car dealerships there was no high pressure to buy this or add that. On both occasions when we went with Pete on test drives, he explained every bell and whistle the vehicles had. Being Subaru people from the start, the cars sold themselves with in the first few minutes, the rest of the rides were like going on a road trip with good friends. More
