This is our third sales experience with Steve Lewis. David Hanks put my wife in her first Forester, a lease, and she swore she'd never drive anything else. This level of service and dedication to the customer is what brought me to Steve Lewis and Dave Hanks when my employer dropped the "company car" program. I couldn't buy new at this time but Dave showed me a sweet used Forester which I took out for a test drive. I was sold! After having driven my wifes car on occasion I knew about the quality and comfort of the Subaru. The fact that it was a one owner vehicle and that it was immaculate didn't hurt my decision to buy. I know that Steve doesn't bring substandard cars onto his lot. My wife is jealous of my used car now because it has the Premium Package like her first Forester,as well as an after factory installed remote start! I purchased a new 2013 Subaru Outback in February 2013 and could not be happier with the purchase. I was unexpectedly in the market for a new car and stopped at a Subaru dealership at the recommendation o and could not be happier with the purchase. I was unexpectedly in the market for a new car and stopped at a Subaru dealership at the recommendation of my family. I had not initially considered a Subaru as my new vehicle but after my first test drive and experience at Steve Lewis Subaru, it was a top contender. Peter was the sales associate who helped me through the entire process and was excellent. I did not know what type of vehicle I wanted to buy at the beginning of the process, Peter showed me the different vehicles and helped me decide which one was right for me and my son. Peter understood my needs and was able to explain the advantages and disadvantages to the different vehicles and options. I appreciated that he was willing to communicate with me through email and text. That might seem like a small thing, but I work nights and that made the process much easier for me. I also appreciated that he was patient and understanding when I brought my four year old, aka wild-child, with me for a test drive. He handled that fiasco very well! He even has a drawer full of snacks just in case kids are around. I never felt rushed or felt that I was being pressured into a vehicle that was not going to meet my needs. Kerry handled the financing portion of the purchase. Everything went smoothly and I did not have to worry about a thing. No hidden surprises. Customer service was obviously the first priority at this dealership. No bad gut feeling that I was talking with a sleazy car dealer like some of the other dealerships in the area I visited. Every time I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the nearest employee who asked if I was looking for someone specifically or if they could help me with something. Everyone was friendly and professional. I was impressed that the friendly office competition between the staff was about customer service quality and satisfaction, not about sales. Between the great loyalty programs and customer satisfaction priority, it is clear they strive to make customers for life and not just focus on this month's bottom line. I will be recommending Peter and Steve Lewis dealership to my friends and family in the future with any hesitation. I haven't talked about the actual vehicle in this review because it is supposed to be about the dealership, but do not let that fool you. I love my Outback too! More

There is a real sense of heart in every aspect of this dealership. What the Steve Lewis Team did not know when I walked in was that my grandfather and my father had run many successful dealerships in the Boston area. I have early memories of my father explaining to me how to buy a car, what to look for, and how to avoid being "taken advantage of," especially as a woman. While both my grandfather and my father have passed away, I am certain that they both would give Steve Lewis Subaru five stars. I felt deeply respected, my needs and wishes were heard and the team surpassed my highest expectations in service, taste, and enthusiasm. Not only would my family be proud of the brilliant and safe Subaru I drove off their lot, I know they would be proud of seeing such an exceptional dealership thriving in Western Mass. During one of my visits at Steve Lewis Subaru, the rain in the Pioneer Valley poured down in biblical proportions. I had a painting in the back of my vehicle, and I needed to bring it to the back of my new Subaru. Normally, I would cover the canvas with a bag and make the transition as quickly as possible, and hope for the best. One of the valets saw what I was trying to do, and immediately jumped in my Subaru and drove it closely to where my painting was. He opened the tail gate and as carefully as a fine arts dealer would, he transferred my painting safely from vehicle to vehicle keeping it completely dry! I was in awe of his excellent service and caring. As I shared, Steve Lewis Subaru is a family. My experience with this dealership left me not only feeling like I had visited a happy and successful home, but I felt like I was also a part of this family. More

The process was easy and stress free. I received the exact car in which I was interested in 3 days. I was granted the requested value of my trade in car and treated fairly. The finance manager clearly stated my options and reviewed my package. I have and will continue to service my vehicle there and am always greeted with a smile and friendly conversation.
